Smoky Bear Lodge is a renovated four unit boutique lodge directly across from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Each room is private with no shared spaces. We are located on US-321, which leads directly into downtown Gatlinburg (15-20 min). The Maddron Bald National Park trail is 1 mile from the lodge, and leads to the Appalachian Trail. The lodge is 10 minutes from Cosby Campground - the starting point for many park trails. We welcome dogs, and they MUST BE registered when booking.
*Floorplan and Amenities*
This unit is approximately 485 sq ft, with a luxurious Stearns & Foster king size mattress and a twin over full bunk bed. All furniture is custom made from wood. Enjoy the 75" smart HDTV which is connected to xfinity cable and has the ability to connect to any of your streaming services. There is also a desk you may use.
This unit has a full bathroom including a fully enclosed glass shower and one-sink vanity. We provide all bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, tissues, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and a hairdryer. The bathroom also includes a vanity table with a mirror and chair.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, two-slice toaster, Keurig coffee maker, two-burner hot plate, and a full size refrigerator. We provide all necessary cooking implements, including silverware, utensils, pots/pans, bowls, plates, cups, and mugs. There is a kitchen table with seating for three.
*Outdoor Space*
You will have a large patio with a two-seat bench in the back of the lodge. You may also access the picnic area near the maintenance cabin, walk the grounds, or use the fenced in backyard.
*Location*
We are located on highway US-321. This is a convenient location with direct access to Gatlinburg, national park trails, and stores. We have added resort-grade soundproofing insulation and drywall between all units.
Visit Donna Jo's Market and Subway across the street, Dollar General next door, or the Tennessee Readiness camping store across the street for convenient access to food and supplies.

Summary: This is our 2nd year at this property. We were in town for the Gaither Family Fest at Gatlinburg Convention Center. Quiet and not too far from Interstate. Easy access to the Smokie mountain national park which we enjoyed so very much.

Summary: This little studio was a great place to stay, especially with my dog! A really nice fenced in area for her to run in was a bonus. Lots of interesting activities in the area. Sometimes a bit loud due to being located on a state road but not overly annoying.

Summary: Family of 4 stayed and it had plenty of room for us to relax at night. Clean, comfy, and everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Easy to get to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Asheville. We didn't spend time during the day at the romm so it was perfect for a place to rest up at. We'd definitely will consider staying again in the future.

Summary: Nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were comfortable and all the furniture and appliances seemed to be in great shape or new! Although we only stayed one night, we appreciated the well stocked items and amount of bath towels that were provided! We enjoyed sitting out on the back covered patio listening to the rain and watching the birds. Convenient to a lot of things and only took us 15 minutes to get to Gatlinburg and the Roaring Forks motor trail. It’s also right across the street from a gas station and Subway which has reasonable prices. This is a great set up and we had plenty of room for our family of four! Host was easy to communicate with and we would stay here again if we ever come back to the area.
