Our cozy Authentic Log Cabin sits nestled on Dunn’s Creek just steps away from YOUR Smoky Mountain National Forest, perfect for couples or a small family. Cabin is located just 15 minutes from the new Rocky Top Sports World complex. This cabin features one bedroom with ceiling mounted 32' flat screen TV, sleeper sofa, 39' flat screen in living room, 1.5 baths, a Jacuzzi tub and washer/dryer on the property. (Although the sleeper sofa is full sized, it is suited for smaller children rather than adults as they are not very comfortable) Just minutes away from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, you can enjoy area attractions such as shopping, dining, swimming, hiking, fishing, white water rafting and so much more.
Our newly redecorated cabin has a front covered porch and a screened in back deck with stereo speakers facing the creek for your enjoyment while sipping coffee or just relaxing with the sounds of nature.
Access to our cabin is very easy and there are no steep hills to climb or switchback roads to navigate. It is as easy as pulling in your driveway:
You are just a smooth 10 minute drive on beautiful Highway 321 from Gatlinburg and less than 15 minutes from all of the action.
If you need any necessities, no worries. Jack’s Market is within walking distance from the cabin. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Magnolia Tree Cafe is a short drive from the cabin and Cobbly Nobb will deliver to the cabin offering a full menu and some of the best pizza in the Smokies.

As of August 31, 2012 a new hot tub was installed on creekside back deck.
The deck has been screened in for your privacy and comfort. A stereo was installed in the living room with an .MP3 input to enjoy music from the radio, CD/DVD player or your playlist from a iPod, phone or iPad either in the cabin or while relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub.
When inquiring about any cabin, always ask the owner about the water in the cabin. Our water is as clean and clear as the creek out back.

Summary: This cabin is perfect size for two people. It is clean and quiet. The screened in back porch with hot tub provides great privacy. It was awesome to sit and enjoy the running creek not 20 feet from the deck. Beautiful wooded area.

Summary: Our stay at all about love was fantastic. Check in was easy and the cabin was just as described. The creek was as soothing as the hot tub and jacuzzi tub! The rhododendrons by the cabin are in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Summary: It was a great stay. The cabin had just what we needed for a brief getaway. The location was perfect and away from the busyness of Gatlinburg. The king bed was comfy. The only things I could say that were improvable but not a big deal- the WiFi wasn’t great and kept disconnect constantly (every 2min) so we could never watch the downstairs TV. We also could not locate where to connect for MP3/speaker as stated in the listing for the back porch. We would definitely stay here again. Do yourself a favor and eat at the Greasy Spoon up the road and the Mountain Cafe.

Summary: This is a perfect getaway cabin in the woods. It’s close enough to all the tourist attractions but also out enough that you have peace and seclusion. Would definitely stay here again. The sounds of the running water in the creek was one of my favorite parts.

Summary: The burble of Dunns creekwater sliding thru its rocky bed just a few feet from a wonderful hot tub porch just adds to the ambience of this cabin & loft to snooze in. The fireplace makes short work of the cold overnights, & we and our two fuzzy kiddos made it the best 4 days in quite awhile. G-burg is about 12 mi Sw directly down 321 to enjoy trams and chairlifts to the sky, it seemed! The Mccurry’s were good hosts and answered any Q’s on the VRBO chat. The Roku TV was hampered by an erratic internet signal - had to be reset a few times. All in all we had a truly magnificent time & hated to leave this Shangri-La. We’ll be back - thanks guys!

Summary: Overall it was a lovely place, not quite as secluded as i imagined but we had a great time. The only negative i have is how far it is from town. I thought the listing said minutes from Gatlinburg but its a good 30min drive. But i liked it and would definitely stay again!!
