Escape to our beautiful vacation home, perfectly situated on the stunning island of Great Exuma, The Bahamas.
Centrally located, just a 8 - 10 minute short drive from the airport and a 2 minute walk to the beach, our home offers convenience, comfort, and proximity to the island's natural beauty. Whether you want to visit beautiful beaches and sandbars, explore cays, beach bars, simply soak up the sun, go fishing, golf, our home offers the ideal starting point.
Our cozy house is decorated with tropical accents and enhanced with large windows, central air and nice furnishings.
There are two spacious bedrooms with king size beds, pillow top mattresses and made up with fine linens, pillows and duvet. Both bedrooms have full size ensuite bathrooms with plush towels and bath robes.
Relax and unwind in the living room on the sofa, love seat and ottoman.
The full size kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, water dispenser and small appliances. Dine and socialize at the large breakfast bar.
Lounge on the patio furniture while enjoying the outdoors in a private setting surrounded by tropical gardens that celebrate local materials, native trees and plants.
Create your favourite meal on the stainless steel bbq and dine at the table on the back deck.
Other feature amenities include a large 50” flat screen smart tv, Bose soundbar, cable, stackable washer/dryer set, high speed Fiber Optic WIFI, island cell phone and a private enclosed outdoor shower with warm /cold water.

Summary: Another amazing stay at Canuck Palms. This home has everything you need, beach toys, snorkel equipment, beach bags, towels, rolling cooler. A nice back deck to grill and relax on the lounge chairs in the evening after a day at the beach. Heather responded my messages promptly, which I loved. Summary: What a beautiful & cozy place! We loved everything about Brett & Heather’s place. The house is very clean. We arrived for the last part of our trip. As soon as we walked in the door we felt like we were back at home. Our favorite part of the place was how close the beach was…100 steps and you’re there! We spent our last day enjoying the beach while the kiddos played in the water. We only saw 2 other people the whole time we were there. The kids enjoyed the beach toys & the 2 way radios definitely came in handy. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Brett & Heather!

Summary: We just got back from our week long stay at Canuck Palms with our two kids aged 2 1/2 years and 7 months. The accommodations were spotless on arrival and it was stocked with all the equipment you need to enjoy your vacation (including many supplies for kids!). It was great to have access to both a pack n’play and high chair which meant less packing for us and we were pleasantly surprised to also find children’s beach toys and books! The beach was a short walk from the house (not suitable terrain for a stroller but it was so close we didn’t need one) and we often had it completely to ourselves. During our stay the water at the beach was a bit rough and not suitable for swimming with small children but we enjoyed playing in the sand and watching the waves. The house was conveniently located (15-20 min drive) to tons of amazing beaches with shallow calm water for swimming. There were many options close by for food, groceries and gas! We felt very safe in the area and were surrounded by friendly neighbours but had tons of privacy on the property itself. Brett and Heather were EXTREMELY responsive both leading up with the trip and during our stay (they usually responded in under 5 mins!). We did lose power quite a few times during our stay (often for about 30 mins, sometimes longer) and they were quick to keep us updated. This is something to consider when travelling with kids who are on a meal/nap schedule. This is truly a turn key vacation spot and we can’t wait to return!

Summary: The house was very clean and neat and had a great Bahamas vibe. The check-in process was super easy and communication with the owners was very clear and precise. We enjoyed the easy and short walk to what felt like our own private beach and spent a lot of time there.
