Summary: The lady at check in was super crabby. They charge an extra $10 for booking third party and she got incredible mad when I asked what the “balance” I owed was. The rooms looked nice - but was super nasty. Pubic hard on the bed, mud spots on the comforter, food in the corners or the room. Not worth the money. The guy at check-out was friendly though. Definitely go elsewhere. The pics make it look way better than it really is.

Summary: We really loved our stay here! Right off, the person at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a free upgrade. Complimentary coffee in the lobby and the room, a refrigerator, microwave, and fireplace were nice amenities. Our room even had a distant view of Monterey Bay. The hotel is located less than a mile from Fisherman's Wharf, and we walked there in about 20 minutes. The condition of the room was mostly very good, but I gave that area a 4/5 because the shower head looked like it needed to be replaced and there was about a 5 inch crack in the ceiling over the bathroom sink. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Monterey.

Summary: Loved the amount of space in this room! The high ceilings make it feel very large and open. We enjoyed the fact that we had a couch, ottoman and chair in addition to the bed, which we found very comfortable. We also liked that the toilet was in a separate room from the vanity. View from the balcony into someone's backyard (with barking dogs) was the only negative, but there was a view of the water!

Summary: The service seems great as our check in was easy and smooth. Very nice front desk attendant. The location is quiet, which is great. The free parking was a plus. We were fine with simple amenities, but where we were unhappy was the cleanliness and bed comfort. The base boards and corners were not clean. I understand it’s 2 star level motel, but it was gross to see hair and lint plastered to the base boards. There was a long hair on the wall in the bathroom and a previous guest’s eye mask near the bed. My husband told me afterwards that he picked black hairs (long hair) off the sheets. He didn’t tell me as he knew I would freak out although if he had I would have discussed this with the front desk our first night. The bath towels smelled. The bed was hard, which meant back pain all night long. Maybe some rooms were better than others, but for $414 + $20 more once checked in for 2 nights…it’s a lot for what we experienced. I know it’s spring break, Monterey, and inflation, but still can’t justify. We checked out before night 2 as we decided we would rather be home.

Summary: Parking was safe and easy. Loved the fireplace, it comes with a timer on it. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious enough for Me, my husband, my 8 year old and 2 year old.

Summary: No complaints everything was great. Not close enough for a person to walk to cannery row or the wharf but that was ok we drove. Beds and shower was convenient for person with walker. Over all no complaints it was a nice stay.

Summary: The location of the hotel is perfect. We were minutes away from the aquarium and downtown. We appreciated how quiet the area was. However, the rooms could have been a little cleaner.
