Sit on the large front Porch and enjoy your morning coffee or hang out in the spacious back yard during the evening hours.
Our 3 private bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen ) and 2 full baths will give you all the space you need for your whole tribe.
Home has a fully equipped kitchen ready for your culinary expertise :) , even if that means just boiling some spaghetti and throwing on a jar of pasta sauce.

Please note: The home has 3 Steps to the porch.
The home features 2 1920s bathtubs. Guest with mobility limitations might find them challenging to use.
1920 something was a long time ago so our front bath tub has a small rust stain that is not very noticible.
Our pink tub is completely functional and will soon receive a full refinishing. Due to supply chain issues, her makeover is currently on hold. We have added a non slip mat for all our guest.
The Kitchen: Our Kitchen features a stainless steel Wolf gas range.

**please note because of supply chain issued the Wolf vent hood fan is not yet installed but it will not affect cooking) Fully functioning hood coming soon.

Summary: I will start by saying this is by far my favorite property that I have rented over the years. Not only is the home mind blowing with modern amenities while preserving its historic charm, Francis, the owner, is extremely attentive and works to make sure her guests are welcome. She is an absolute delight to rent from. The home is well appointed and has all the creature comforts one could ever need. I highly recommend renting this property if you’re looking for a comfortable, safe and quiet stay in Memphis.

Summary: The king bed in the master is so hard it is like a rock. My husband and I couldn’t sleep in there. We had to switch rooms with our daughters and they also struggled to sleep on that mattress. There are no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms so it got too warm. The water pressure in the shower in the second bathroom is so low, it was basically unusable. Conditioner dispenser in the master shower doesn’t work. No extra towels. We each only had one and needed extra. Only half of the lights on the back patio work. So, many items that need to be addressed in order to make this a nice play to stay.

Summary: I stayed at this house while in Memphis for business. The house is clean and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very quiet. No more hotels for me. I will stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Summary: Great quiet place in Memphis close to many areas and restaurants. Well equipped and owner was very responsive. Would also totally recommend the lovely park along the river. We would definitely keep this on our list if we come through here again.

Summary: This property is absolutely stunning! It’s a 1920’s home that resonates the time, hard work and love that was poured into renovating this home into a home that could be shared and enjoyed by the owner’s family and now open to share with others. I’ve rented many VRBOs over the years, but this one has captivated me. Let me share details such as luxurious linens, bedding and fully stocked kitchen including coffee supplies. The owner provides the soaps, laundry and dishwasher detergent so you are not to be burdened with purchasing such beforehand. The cast iron tubs are amazing!!! Disregard the previous negative comment about this. There is a step to help those who need help stepping into this glorious master tub to enjoy it too! It’s under the tub ready to pull out for use. The cast iron tubs hold the water temperature beyond any modern tub so you can soak for hours if you desire! The brass fixtures with the rain shower was also a treasure! Let me also mention that this home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to many of the fantastic sites Memphis has to offer. We use it to visit our college student and will most certainly be back! Lastly, but importantly, the backyard is large and beautifully manicured with mature trees that serve as a canopy while you enjoy your morning coffee! I can go on forever to describe every detail of why I love this home, but for time sake, I will allow you to explore and experience it in your own special way. Thank you Mabel!

Summary: Close to the zoo. Nice home. The shower in primary bedroom was not great and hard to get in and out of shower for people with mobility issues. Good location. Check in simple.
