Positive: It’s a regular house, but with a separate entrance, so you can use the entire first floor. There are three beds, and you can sleep in any of them. The kitchen and bathroom are fully available for use as well! The owner lives on the second floor, but I never saw them — communication was smooth with quick responses. There’s also parking space, making it a highly recommended accommodation! Thank you for providing such a comfortable stay!
Negative: It’s located on a main road, so the traffic noise is quite loud, which is a bit disappointing.

Positive: Very welcoming and friendly hosts who made me some lovely chai tea and made me feel at home. The location is very easy - 10 mins walk to downtown Very comfortable with everything I like - good shower, tea, coffee and kettle & milk. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed.
Negative: On a main road, so might bother some people, but good windows that keep out noise, really peaceful place.

Positive: Location was perfect, for where we needed to be. Easy check-in. Water pressure in the shower was awesome. We were able to park our vehicles in front of house so unloading and loading was easy.
Negative: House # was not visible from the street. Only 2 bath towels and one kitchen cloth provided. Upstairs was very noisy through out the entire night. (don't know if they were working/renovating.) Seemed to be quiet after 6am, when we got up.

Positive: Clean & cozy. Owner/ managers reside upstairs. Great folks…very hospitable and welcoming. Plenty of sleeping quarters….great for a family. Dishes & cooking appliances new and in good order. Near to Old Downtown Nanaimo.
Negative: Location…street noise is high, although quieter when door closed tightly & at night.
Summary: As a senior couple,we enjoyed our stay & would return!

Positive: Short walking distance from the town centre (20 minutes). Comfortable bed. Good range of facilities (fridge, microwave, etc)
Negative: Initial impression of exterior remebled to a building site. Was not told that I could enter the flat without first meeting the host (it turns out the front door was unlocked and keys inside). Towels not provided, WiFi password did not work, and did know know how to turn on the tap in the washroom, although all these could have been addressed by the host if I got in contact with them (I was only there for a night, so didn't bother). Earplugs recommended if you find the noise from floorboards overhead an issue.
