Summary: We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by.

Summary: We stayed here to be fairly close to family for a visit, but it was so much more than just a place close by. We sat around the campfire, walked along the Buckhannon River listening to the rush of the water, walked up and down hills and listened to evening songs of the whippoorwill. It’s a curvy drive back from the highway, but that’s part of the joy. Beds were all comfortable and spacious, and Brenda was very helpful when needed as were the folks down the road when we walked. We saw deer, bear, and the usual woodland creatures.

Summary: Great place just above the river. Lots of space to spread out. Pool table, dart board, and fire pit all on site. Very clean. Great experience overall.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The place was spacious with plenty of room. The kitchen was fully furnished. The bedrooms were well stocked and had plenty of extra blankets. We enjoyed the fire pit, the pool table, and darts. The large wrap around covered porch was nice also.

Summary: Great rental property. Brenda and her husband were so kind. We were able to rent kayaks for the kids and take them on the creek. Was just what we needed to kick back and get away from our busy jobs. Wi-Fi worked great so we could stay in touch as needed with our business. The house was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay.

Summary: We had such a great New Years weekend here! The cabin was lovely and so cozy, perfect for the rainy weather. Brenda also graciously drove us a different way out after checkout since the road in flooded, which was so nice and above and beyond!
