Cottage is in the woods overlooking a pond in the mountains of West Virginia. All one level, four bedroom, two bath, open living area, gas log fireplace, covered deck, outside fire pit. Just minutes from the Buckhannon River. Cottage is located 10 miles out the Alexander/Helvetia Road in French Creek.
The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you would have in the comfort of your home. There is a starter of garbage bags and dishwasher tabs provided.
Pacman machine in trundle room. TVs in Full and Queen bedrooms.
We are pet friendly (dogs only, fee required). Must clean up after your pet inside and out. Excessive pet hair on furniture or pet excrement (especially inside) may result in forfeiture of all or part of security deposit.

Summary: My friends and I spent a week at the Blackberry Cottage in April 2025. The cabin is super comfortable and located to so many great WV destinations. This is the second time we stayed at this particular cabin. Just like the previous time, the cabin was spotless when we arrived and exactly as advertised. The property manager is amazing. When the internet connection dropped, we contacted her and she called within minutes with a solution. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be coming back.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay, the house was well stocked and clean. We have been here twice before and this trip was just as enjoyable. The host is easy to communicate with, the Wi-Fi worked well and we liked hiking around and playing by the pond.

Summary: We really enjoyed the house and location. It was well maintained, clean, and in a really nice area. We have family nearby and the location made visiting Pickens, Helvetia, and Hacker Valley easy as convenient as can be for this part of Randolph County.
