Summary: Our family of four (my wife and I and two teenagers) stayed in this villa for almost two weeks and loved our time there. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful property manager, Manolis, who got us situated and was helpful throughout our stay. The villa is quite new, everything is in excellent condition, and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The wi-fi was good enough to stream Netflix and keep our teens connected to friends while not so good as to keep them online too much :). We enjoyed the private beach with umbrellas and sun beds, which is easily accessible and just a few steps from the villa. The beach is a little rocky, so we were glad that we brought our water shoes. We happened to be at the villa during a major, early-summer heat wave, but there was frequently a cooling breeze and we only needed air conditioning for sleeping. The east side of the island is very quiet and quite undeveloped, which provided us with exactly the kind of peace and quiet that we sought. We spent several days at Psilli Ammos beach, a large, beautiful fine sand beach. Much of the time we were the only people on the entire beach! We also enjoyed Panermos beach, a great spot to go when the wind picks up because it is in a protected cove. Both these beaches were an easy drive from the villa. The restaurants in Moutsouna were pretty good, mostly for seafood, especially Ostria and the Fishnet. Because we were at the villa for an extended stay, we ventured out a number of times to restaurants in Apiranthos, Filoti, and Chalki. However, the road to Moutsouna is a bit mountainous, so we only went to those villages for lunch (I wouldn’t have felt comfortable driving up or down the mountain at night). The view from the Rotonda restaurant is definitely worth checking out (and the food was awesome as well). We found the Spiti Galaktabouriko to be some of the best traditional Greek food we had on our trip. The mini market in Moutsouna really does have just about everything you need for staples, including some of the best homemade marmalades we’ve had. Very friendly shop owner too! We felt lucky to have found this gem of a villa!

Summary: This is a wonderful property, in a perfect location that is both beautiful and quiet. The house is lovely, very comfortable and enjoys an incredible view of the ocean and surrounding islands. There are three or four restaurants nearby that are quite nice and a mini market is only five minutes away. The owners are extremely attentive to the needs of their guests and their cousin Nikolas lives in the area and will take excellent care to guide and solve any issues. An unforgettable stay! Thanks for a very special time!

Summary: We had a great time in the house. The location with private beach is wonderful. Very quite place and village around. The house is very spacious, luminous and very well equipped (kitchens, air con, etc). We have been amazingly welcomed by Nikolas, the local contact, cousin of the landlord. The service during the stay was one of the best we ever had. He provided us with everything we needed, including local products. He is also a great tourist guide ! We definitely recommend the place. We staid in the house at 12 people, 6 adults and 6 kids and we fitted perfectly. The East Coast of the island where the house is located is the least developed and crowded in the island. Thus beaches are not crowded and the area is very quiet, for a quiet and revitalizing stay. Don't go there if you are looking for vibrant night life. Definitely go to the Panormos beach and visit the islands on a fishing boat. The restaurant l'Ostria, 500m from the house, is the best in the area. Very kind service and great food.

Summary: beautiful site with very large garden and private beach, isolated but very near the centre of town and tavernas. high class villa, beautifully decorated with all modern comfort and brand new, all rooms en suite with private terrasses and well divided so easy to share among 3 families. warm welcome from the landlord and his family with precious help and tips about the island. beautiful part of the island with few tourists, very scenic and charming little harbour of moutsouna. we LOVED it!!!
