The villa is located in Fuente del Baden which is a small and quiet development of detached villas next to El Capistrano Village. The villa is perfect for self-catering holidays with a well equipped kitchen with all you would expect including electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, air fryer and ample storage space. There is a Webber BBQ for al fresco dining on the terrace. If you fancy eating out the nearest restaurants and bars are a ten minute stroll or you can sample some of the many restaurants in the centre of town which are within a thirty minute walk or 5-10 minutes by car. There is also a local bus service running every hour from bus stops either on the main road or from Capistrano village. Burriana beach is a twenty minute walk or five minutes by car. Nearby, and within walking distance are other bars and restaurants, the paddle tennis club and two large supermarkets.
The villa has three double bedrooms all of which have air conditioning. The master bedroom has a veranda and an en suite bathroom. The open plan living area has a lounge with log burning stove. The dining area has a table which sits six people. Patio doors open onto the pool terrace. The smart TV in the lounge provides a range of English and Spanish Freeview channels, a video club with a selection of films and boxed sets, and selection of radio channels.
Outside the terrace looks out on to the private pool where you can relax on one of the sunbeds or take a dip in the pool. From the poolside you can admire the view over the open land to the sea beyond.
We also have a roof terrace in the front garden for early evening drinks, with lovely views both of the mountains behind and the coastline to the front.
In the front of the villa there is a garden and car port for off road parking behind the entrance gates to the property.
Malaga airport to the villa takes approximately 45 minutes. A bus runs from Malaga to Nerja. Buses also run from Nerja to Torre del Mar, Frigiliana, the Caves of Nerja and Almunecar.
Nerja is a fantastic central location. The Sierra Almijara Mountains behind Fuente del Baden are a National Park with great walks and views. The famous Caves of Nerja are a very short distance, and are some of the most spectacular in Spain.
Frigiliana is a short drive away, a typical whitewashed village set high in the mountains, with good restaurants, market and gift shops. A visit to the Alhambra Palace at Granada is a must (although it is essential to book a day or two in advance). There are golf courses within a short drive, and water-sports on the beach.
Our Managing Agents are located in the reception area of Capistrano village which is a ten minute walk from the villa (or short drive). They are open all year round. They maintain the villa on our behalf, and they will address any problems which occur during your stay. They can also help with excursions and any general information needs you may have.

Summary: We stayed for a week in August. The villa was easy to find as the instructions were very good. We picked up the keys easily. The villa has everything you need like hairdryers, iron, etc. Air conditioning was good. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed spending time there. The terrace out the front of the villa was nice to sit at during the evening. The villa is in a nice quiet area. We walked to the beach area a couple of nights. Other nights we drove to Balcon de Europa. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars in Nerja. We had some beach days and there are plenty of nice beaches nearby. We also had days out in Malaga and even headed over to Marbella one day. We did lots locally too such as the caves and the Tuesday market. The villa is in a great location for this. We had a great stay at the villa.

Summary: As a family of 6 ( 3 couples ), we had a fantastic holiday at Villa Acebo. The villa was very well equipped with everything we needed. We like a mix of eating out and preparing our own food and the fantastically well equipped kitchen allowed us to feel home from home in doing so. The villa is set in a peaceful location and is really spacious with different seating areas which was great for the shade and the sun. We had coffee every morning on the roof terrace which was our favourite and with great views. We decided not to hire a car as we are all very mobile but in hindsight, would have been better for trips into Nerja and trips to the supermarket due to the heat. Also would have benefited from having a car when going to the beach which is about 15 mins walk down a very steep path. On our next visit, a car would definitely be on our list. All in all, the Villa and the pretty streets of Nerja lived up to our expectations and we'll definitely visit again.

Summary: Exactly as described - the property was perfect for our needs. The pool was just the right size for our 3 year old to build his confidence in the water. The villa is a good size and the lay out perfect for the 5 of us to escape and get some quiet time if required. The check in/out process was easy and the host provided all the necessary info. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again

Summary: Villa Acebo is a well equipped villa in a very quiet neighbourhood which is perfect for a relaxing break. As a family of three (mum, dad and teenage daughter) with our best friends (our daughter's god-parents), the villa layout worked perfectly for us - two bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a separate master suite with its own en suite. Communication with the owners was utterly first class - we had an horrific delay on the way out which meant we'd be arriving very (very!) late but Bob reassured us throughout and even checked in via email on our first day to check we'd arrived ok. This was very thoughtful and much appreciated! There was plenty of space around the pool for us all to sunbathe without getting on top of each other and there are different areas to enjoy a quiet breakfast or sundowner drinks - we especially liked the roof terrace! Due to our massive flight delay, the car hire at Malaga airport was closed so we instead got a taxi and, in fact, didn't bother with a car during our stay. Mercadona is within walking distance and on the couple of occasions that we had more than we could carry, it was easy to call a taxi. We spent one day on Burriana beach which offers a plethora of eateries and went back on our last evening for dinner at Rincon del Sol which we'd recommend! All in all, a thoroughly nice holiday!

Summary: The villa is in a great location for Nerja as well as being within easy travel distance of the motorway for visiting the surrounding area. The villa is spacious (rooms are big), comfortable and well equipped - catering for your every need. We made good use of the pool during the hot afternoons. Parking was easy which is a big benefit as this can not always be said of many villas (we parked on street outside of the villa). Good communication with owners when booking, and check in & check out process very smooth. Overall we had a great holiday in a lovely villa in a good location

Summary: We stayed 10 days at Villa Acebo, the villa is located up above Burriana Beach, and a short distance from the main restaurants and shopping. The pool was a great, as we used it everyday. The home had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and the town has more than enough to offer travelers. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Summary: The villa exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful stay and the air con as stated in the other reviews was fantastic. The location was perfect and the big pool was wonderful. I would love to visit Nerja again and will definitely use Lindsey and Bob's villa as it was a home from home and we wanted for nothing.
