This charming, four-bedroom, four-and-one-half bath brand new marshfront home enjoys a peaceful location in Ocean Park, one of Kiawah's newest and most prestigious enclaves. Surrounded by native live oaks, pines, and palmettos, this home feels miles away, yet is enviably close to hiking trails, and a playground (Ocean Park Treehouse). Kiawah's 10-mile beach and the famed Ocean Course, home of the 2021 PGA Championship, are also just a short bike ride away.
The perfect getaway for four couples or a girls's/guys' retreat, this stunning property has four spacious king bedrooms. Elegant architectural details, such as shingle siding, exposed rafter tails, a gabled, standing seam metal roof, and an aesthetically pleasing mix of textures and nature-inspired hues create a neatly ordered exterior. The home's design is well suited for its Lowcountry setting and maximizes its marshside setting with abundant windows and gracious outdoor living space.
The main floor features an open concept plan with a central, primary living space. The great room features shiplap accents, a coffered ceiling, stone-surround fireplace, and custom built-ins. Blurring the line between indoors and out, two walls of windows and accordion-fold glass doors open to both the front and rear porches and brighten the room.
The all-white, wraparound kitchen features four tall windows that add natural light and a central island with breakfast bar seating. Polished stone countertops and backsplash complement the custom cabinetry, and a suite of upscale appliances includes a beverage chiller, built-in refrigerator, and 6-burner range.
The primary suite and a second ensuite bedroom are also located on the main floor. The primary suite opens onto private rear deck overlooking the marsh.
Designed for modern living, the second floor features two ensuite bedrooms, a full-sized laundry room, and a media room with custom built-ins for display and storage. The space has vaulted ceilings and opens onto the second floor balcony and outdoor fireplace.
The garage, carport, gear storage, and marshfront terrace are located on the ground level. There is currently not access available to the neighboring Marsh House/pool due to the community bylaws (guests staying 90 days or more may be able to request access). They do host live music and dinner events there from time to time so there may be some noise level occasionally.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access;. Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay.
No smoking and no pets allowed.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

The location and house in general were nearly perfect although it would have been amazing to have access to the adjacent Marsh House. Daily 7 AM leaf blowing was the worst negative but everything else was great- we would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Summary: Nice property with spectacular marsh views and ocean course beyond. Generally well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and good size home. Kitchen was nice but not well stocked and some of pots/pans and plates were old and need replacement. Leaf blowers start at the Marsh House next door every morning at 7:30. Electronic shades were not all functional.

Summary: This is a fabulous place to come and enjoy a beautiful time near the beach. It is beautifully decorated and the appliances are all pretty new. Please do your food shopping before arriving at the property. The market is 20 miles from the house so it helps to not make a separate trip. You can order your food to be delivered to the property before you arrive, but the fees for this are high. The kitchen is well-stocked with the cooking tools to get you started. There is even a cabinet in which other visitors have contributed bottles of seasoning and olive oil etc, which you can use while there. Some of the pillows are really really firm. So be prepared for that. I chose to use a throw blanket rolled up as my pillow instead. Lastly, don't forget your bug spray. There is a can there if you forget but there were a lot of mosquitos around the property. But it did rain heavily the week before so that could be it

Reviewer Comments: The layout of this house is perfect for multiple couples and definitely one we will rent again when returning to Kiawah. Each bedroom is on opposite ends of the house per floor so everyone had privacy while still being together. The marsh view is absolutely gorgeous and decks + patio made soaking it all end perfect! The only complaint we have about the Marsh House next-door is that the maintenance crew had their blowers out at 7am which was loud but otherwise not an issue. Great location to The Ocean Clubhouse and playground down the street for kids.

Summary: The place is stunning. It is probably a $4-$5 million house. Great architecture and well appointed. Basically a Serena and Lilly catalog. Fantastic kitchen. Balconies and TV's everywhere. This is at the far end of the island, very convenient to the Ocean Course. Corporate property manager was helpful when I called with a question. Kings in all four bedrooms...two on the main floor and two up. Complaints are minor. House is next to Marsh House pool and crews were out at 7 a.m. blowing off leaves most mornings. Pillows are really thick, so BYO-Pillow if you like thinner or you'll be sleeping on the decorative pillows. They supply super-cheap toilet paper, so bring that too if that is something you care about. Get groceries/sundries before driving to the house for the first time as it is a fairly long drive back. Take advantage of the sports equipment voucher. We rode bikes and really enjoyed it.
