Positive: First of all, it was fantastic...a beautiful lodge in a very quiet location and only a 15-minute drive from Kilkenny. Mairead and Jimmy were the PERFECT hosts, very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The house, the rooms...everything was very lovingly, homely, and stylishly furnished and coordinated; we've traveled a lot, but here we felt at home from the very beginning. Positive: Lovely property in spectacular area of Co. Kilkenny. Hosts Mairead abd Jimmy very welcoming and really knowledgeable about places of interest in the area. We visited places we would never have know about without their advice.

Negative: Very little. The property is about 5 km outside Kilkenny and 5 km from Kells so you really need a car and you need someone to be a designated driver to get back from dinner at night.
