Positive: We really like family owned the hostel. They have shown us great hospitality to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The house is spotless and warm. They fed us well providing delicious food typical for Svanety. The owner of the house kindly gave us a lift from Mestia and back. He had also brought us close to the glacier and waited for us. It helped to make our walk enjoyable and less exhausting than if we used horses or walked all the way to glacier. His daughter and niece speak perfect English and very friendly.

Negative: The only thing that can be improved is the quality of the pillows as they were too hard for us to sleep

Summary: We have enjoyed every minute in Ushguli! It was amazing to see such a beautiful and unique place. We brought a nice memo
