Positive: The house was clean and in a great location.

Negative: The problem was that the shower did not work ( he on suite one did) and there was no one to contact. I rang both of the numbers on the form and they said they didn't take care of the property any more. I was sent to the tourist office and then to another person and eventually contacted the owner. They said they were sorry but there was no one to fix it.

Summary: Please fix the shower and get up to date contacts.

Positive: Location very good. House very dated though, plumbing needs upgrading. We had no hot water in any taps. Downstairs shower we could not use as flow so poor, upstairs doors don't close on shower unit. There were 2 blood spots on the sheet that covers single base of 1st bed in the bedroom beside upstairs bathroom. We feel if a few € was spent on property, it would have huge potential. Unfortunately we probably would not return there. We rented a house on the island last year and it was fantastic, no issues with it. We love visiting Achill and will continue to, but regarding value and cleanliness,,we feel we were let down on this property.

Negative: Plumbing a major problem, damp black mould on skirting in bathroom. Cooker could do with replacing, maybe a more modern one could be installed
