Thanks for your interest in Bayview Retreat, a well equipped 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom property located on the Esplanade at North Beach.
It makes me happy to stay here and I am excited to be able to share my house with you. Here are the some of the things I love about spending time here. I invite you to come and experience them yourself.
** Uninterrupted sea views. The sweeping views of Wallaroo Bay are magnificent. The property is located on a high point of the Esplanade meaning you get rare panoramic views of the beach and Wallaroo. There isn’t a better place to watch sunrise and sunset or just sit and watch the ocean.
** Comfy beds and quality linen – there’s nothing like crawling in to a comfy bed with crisp linen when holidaying and your stay will be as stress free as possible with linen and towels provided and beds freshly made for your arrival.
** Direct beach access – step outside the front door, cross the road and you will be on the beach. You can’t get much closer and I love stepping directly on to the beach for a walk, run, swim or just to fossick for shells. There’s also a playground and public reserve behind the house and a walking trail to Ottago Rd located nearby.
** Close proximity to high class cafés and restaurants. Did someone say coffee? Walking distance to North Beach Kitchen which serves delicious coffee and all day breakfasts. A short drive to the Wallaroo CBD where there is a variety of eateries including the renowned Bond Store.
** A peaceful neighbourhood – away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to have everything at your fingertips.
** Comfort regardless of the weather. We can’t predict the weather so it is great comfort to know that our property is set up to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Reverse cycle air conditioners and fans in each of the living areas and bedrooms means you can stay in doors in comfort while still enjoying the sea views. Oh, there’s board games, a good quality wireless speaker and a selection of books to keep you entertained also.
If you are like me and enjoy a holiday with a mixture of recreation and down time then Bayview Retreat is the perfect spot to base yourself. Explore and experience the wide variety of recreational, retail and food options available for you on the the Copper Coast before returning to unwind on one of the two sea facing decks. Or my favourite - curling up in the master bedroom retreat with a good book!!
Mi Casa Su Casa. I invite you to make yourself at home. You will have full access to everything in the property including coffee machine, bbq, fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher!) and laundry facilities.
The property sleeps six people in three bedrooms. The configuration is:

Bedroom 3 - 2 x Single beds
Port-a-cot available for your use.

- the property is two story so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues
- pets are welcome at the property but the backyard is not secure and I ask that pets are not allowed in beds or on furniture
- we do not allow parties at the property

Summary: Don’t plan to do much while you’re here. The ocean views are so spectacular that all I could do was sit with a cool drink and enjoy them. Air con units in every bedroom is a plus. Also having a third toilet is helpful if you’re a large group.

Summary: Really great location and house. Great to have 3 bed and 3 bath blinds on front deck were great for blocking the wind at night. Great space. Can hear everything from upstairs so hard to put an infant down for bed but other than that a great stay and the added bonus we could take our pooch who loves the beach. Great communication with the host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Summary: Magnificent beachfront property at North Beach. Very clean and tidy with all living (and one small bathroom) downstairs and three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. All rooms air conditioned so super comfortable - albeit sea breezes blowing through the house (with lockable fly screens) negated our need to use the ac much at all. Small “side” kitchen (so not much serving space) but all the things you need incl dishwasher. Note the bathrooms are small and narrow (but clean, tidy and perfectly ok) and staircase is quite steep. Good secure off street parking for one car at back. Beach access including for 4wd onto beach, out front. Worth noting it’s a very quiet road to cross out front due to the fact they have cleverly closed off the Esplanade at various points making it impossible to drive all the way along - rather you access via perpendicular side streets. So excellent safety for kids. Also there is an attached, offset, “duplex” property - but we didn't feel that impacted us in any way and didn’t notice the occupants. Recommended for a great beachfront break.

Summary: Our 5 night stay at North Beach Esplanade was incredible. The location is to die for as it is literally across the road from the beach We hadnt realised prior to our stay that North Beach is such a beautiful part of Wallaroo and hands down the nicest stretch of the beach for swimming and walking.The house was beautifully decorated, clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay (it was so lovely to not have to pack towells and linen as it was all provided for our stay).Sheridan was responsive to messages and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.Recommend this holiday home for families looking for a beach vacation in an ideal location.
