Positive: Beautiful property. We love that it included breakfast and the view from the patio is stunning. Glamping tents are really comfortable and we also loved that it included a grill. The view from the lakeside glamping tent is also so beautiful and we really loved that we had our own little private beach right in front of our tent which was super easy for the kids.
Negative: We didn't like how the glamping tents didn't have a bathroom facility close by. We had to walk to the main hotel building to use sinks and take showers. They used to have a game room at the side of the building with showers and bathrooms, but they took it away which kind of sucked.
Summary: Amazing stay, beautiful private beach on the lake view of the glamping tent.

Positive: Beautiful lake with sandy beach. Lovely gardens. Very picturesque pier. Loved the quirky decor. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots of kayaks canoes and a paddle board to use. The food was good, particularly the Wednesday bbq buffet. The setting would be perfect for a small to medium wedding. There was a beautiful outdoor patio lit up with patio lights at night. We had quite a large room with a lovely shower and comfortable beds.
Negative: Guests who are elderly or who have mobility issues would find many parts of the property difficult to navigate. Our beds were also quite high and challenging as seniors to get in and out of. More chairs at the beach would have been nice. We spent a lot of time sitting and relaxing and going for walks, so it was perfect for us. If you’re looking for a lot of activities or programs, it won’t be for you. Our room had no electrical sockets by the bedside table for phone chargers or a CPAP machine. The hot tub was not available for use.

Positive: I loved the environment, the close knit feeling as it's not over populated. The pool and beach were stunning
Negative: Hot tub was down- really wishing it had been posted somewhere. We did ask if we could use an empty one in a King suite even for an hour but could not. Wood fire was not allowed with a plan to change to gas, again, we were very excited and got engaged hoping to have a romantic fire. Additionally, my fiancee called and asked about options as he was proposing- he was offered a lake view and bottle of champagne to surprise me. At the end of our stay, we end up with a $80.00 bill and a manager saying "yeah we don't do that" - literally EVERY staff was amazing except for the attitude and lack of explanation from this staff which was disappointing. Overall it truly was a beautiful stay my only dislikes were for the very high price of almost 700$ for two nights, we were disappointed about the lack of hot tub, the inability to use the fire place and the manager on our way out. That being said we definitely would try again and come back simply for the lovely staff, beautiful views and amenities !

Positive: Great resort hotel in the middle of Ontarios nature, right next to a lake with perfect swimming conditions. The breakfast (free!) is fantastic, and the bar is well stocked. Cozy pool area and SUPs/kajaks are available.
Negative: There is almost no cellular network coverage (it's very remote) and the WiFi is spotty sometimes. While this is communicated and not a huge problem, just keep it in mind in case you want to work / video call someone

Positive: The location is fantastic. The staff are exceptional. The room was nice, definitely met our expectations. It was not very busy so we found it nice and quiet. Other guests were also very friendly.
Negative: A few extra options for breakfast would have been nice. Or changing up the eggs. For example scrambled one day would have been appreciated. A family with young boys took the kayaks and paddles the first day we were there and didn’t return them for our entire visit. Would have been nice if the equipment was returned as it is supposed to be. Also the axes on the axe throwing game are falling apart so they don’t stick to the target.
Summary: We loved this resort and will definitely return. We have found our happy place.

Positive: Continental breakfast was great. The pool was a nice spot with places to lounge in the sun or shade, and the beach area was quiet and private which was really nice. The room was spacious and clean, and staff were very friendly to us and our dog.
