Positive: Property is close to town centre swimming pools kids enjoyed a-lot.Breakfast was really nice
Negative: Car park charge was ridiculous — £24 for 24 hours. If I had known about this before, I would not have booked this hotel. I was only staying for a short period, not a week. Otherwise, I would have ended up paying around £175 just for parking. That is worse than airport parking prices. One more thing I would like to mention is that, in my opinion, there was a lack of staff during breakfast. I have worked in hospitality myself for 10 years, so I understand how busy breakfast service can be. The area could have been better maintained to meet the brand standards. It was not very tidy, with plates everywhere, and the juice and coffee area was not very clean. This could definitely have been better. Also, one of the male staff members who was emptying the juice tray was in such a rush that he spilled juice all over my brand-new shoes. Luckily, I jumped backwards just in time to avoid most of it. Otherwise, it would have ruined my day, as I was planning to go somewhere else from the hotel and those were the only pair of shoes I had with me for the day.

Positive: We loved the spa area, it was very nice, clean. It was handy to have spare towels about. The restaurant was very nice, we only had breakfast which was adequate. We didn’t have food there but I was impressed by the look and feel of the place.
Negative: I feel for the nearly £300 spent for the stay the bedroom was inadequate. It felt like a mild upgrade on a Travelodge. The tv was scratched, the bedside table was wonky, the air con switch was damaged, there were dents or chips in the bath tub. I can’t complain about the cleanliness though.
Summary: Downstairs very nice, upstairs not very nice.
