5 Bedroom Cottage in Spring Lake

This five bedroom cottage sleeps 12 in beds with room to sleep even more. There are four bathrooms all with showers. The kitchen is very spacious and beautiful with corian countertops, stainless steel appliances and tile floor. This is a two story cottage with the master bedroom upstairs overlooking the lake. A large entertaining area with a snack bar and kitchen area are also upstairs with an awesome view of the lake. The room also has leather couches, a flat screen TV, stereo system and a large bathroom. Its a great spot to hang out and enjoy the view.
Off of the kitchen is a cement porch area with tables and chairs and a grill. A grassy front yard leads to a lovely deck which has chairs and also a picnic table. Two steps down is the water. There is a sandy beach area that is around eight feet before leading to shallow water.
The house is available in the off-season for long-term rentals.

Summary: A great beach house for family to stay in. House was clean and had everything you need in a house. Nice views of the lake. Owners are very nice and friendly.

Summary: Our family of adults and children had a blast. We enjoyed our private beach, kayaks and paddleboat. Unlike many other rentals in Southwest MI, this house is situated within a 5-15 minute drive of so many family friendly activities like the Musical Fountain, Tanglewood Park, many local parks, the Lakeshore Trolley and lots of great shopping for those who love to browse! You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Cottage was perfect for our larger group. Four generations spanning age 5 to 91. We needed a first floor that had accessible bathroom and bedroom, plus room to move around with a walker. The two living spaces-one up and one down worked great! Littles could be up and olders down! Two kayaks available and boat rental nearby. Lake is a bit weedy, but there is a public access right down the road-walking distance-that is well groomed. Short distance to Grand Haven beaches and restaurants. Large frig, two kinds of coffee maker, all the kitchen basics you need! Lovely patio with lots of seating, easy access to lake with nice sandy beach for the kids. Sunsets were spectacular! Deck area down by the water made viewing delightful. Kitchen had lots of plates, glasses and silverware (which is VERY atypical for VRBO properties we have stayed at). We absolutely loved staying here! Plan to go again next year if possible!

Summary: This was our first full family vacation and we could not have picked a better location. We had a beach for the children to play at right out of the home. It had a full dock if we had a boat. Each family had their own bedroom and full bathroom. We were minutes away from Grand Haven where there were lots to do and see and we even spent a day in Grand Rapids with the grandchildren. Our only recommendations would be if you plan on cooking a lot bring some of your own measuring cups and spoons. There were 8 adults and 2 small children and we did a lot of meals there. The pictures of the home don't seem to capture the beauty of the lakehouse. We enjoyed the week long stay and hope to make it back!

Summary: My husband and I had a great stay at this home in Spring Lake. The view of the lake and evening sunsets were fantastic! Very convenient location. Easy to get to Grand Haven, Holland, Muskegon and even Grand Rapids. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This large property is lake front on a quiet street with a beautiful view including mature trees that provided shade, and a semi-private sanded beach front with a pier for docking a boat, jet skis, etc. We enjoyed the local quiet area neighborhood too, with a nearby (walking distance) park with playground and 8 pickleball courts. We brought bikes and enjoyed biking on the trails. Our family (grown children and some spouses) including two little ones stayed and there was plenty of space and quiet. The 3 bedrooms on the main level (and two full separate bathrooms) and two bedrooms on the upper level -one with a connected full bath provided ample space. it was hot during our stay, but the AC worked well in the home. There is also a large family room/kitchen area on the upper level with a large full bathroom connected to it. The decor is a little dated but that adds to the older charm of it. The host was very responsive when we had a few minor issues/questions. Easy drive to many attractions/activities and conveniences including nearby Grand haven. Highly recommend!

Summary: very nice location on lakefront property. well cared for home with plenty of sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Beautiful lake view.Unfortunatly our weather was cold and we could not do as much outside but we had a great time here . The area is beautiful and we all look forward to a return visit. Thanks to the very accommodating home owners for allowing us to gather at their home.
