3 full Bathrooms: Main level: Spa steam shower with rain, waterfall, and 7 jets. Jet tub inside. Upper level: Extra Long Claw foot tub on upper level with shower, and hand held. Whiskey Barrel sinks. Lower level: 2 jet, 2 person shower. 2 private bedrooms on lower level.
The space
It is a beautiful cabin built of all wood with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings to the upstairs loft.
You can see all 3 legs of Centralia Lake from the upstairs open windows.
3 Queen size beds are in the open shared loft, with shared full Claw foot tub/shower.
2 private rooms with Queen size beds are in the lower level with shared full jet stand up shower
The open concept living room to kitchen has a full size couch and 2 extra large recliners. There is another full bath on this main level with a 2 person jetted tub and walk in spa shower.
Full kitchen with Keurig and traditional coffee. Jen Air glass top stove with grill for inside grilling and large oven. Most kitchen supplies provided.
The 2 main floor fire places are for looks only due to insurance reasons. The Loft fireplace is working with a light switch to the side. Play area located on each level.

Summary: This was a nice place to relax. We watched the sunset and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Summary: This place was perfect for our Guys Weekend; a getaway for 5 dads in their 40s. And we were very satisfied with all the room to move around and what this house had to offer. It was clean, plenty of seating, a big dining room table, 3 bathrooms, bbq grill, wifi, TV for our weekend sports, and firepit by the lake with great views. Only negatives were that the outside wrap around porch could have used a cleaning, the deck by the lake could use an overhaul, and same with the outdoor furniture. Bring your own outdoor chairs, and forks for eating (kitchen only had 4 forks supplied). Other than that, we enjoyed it and would go back. And FYI, site wasn't clear on sleeping arrangements, there are 2 queen beds in the loft, and 2 bedrooms w/queen beds in the basement. One of our guys slept on an air mattress by choice, instead of a couch, which we had planned before staying.

Summary: Overall, our stay was wonderful as the house was in a great location and was a great size for a large group of people. The outdoor accommodations were also perfect for a sunrise coffee and a sundown fire. We were a bit put off by how unkept the house was. We spent a lot of time cleaning the wrap around deck and outdoor so e as it was covered in debris, leaves, and cobwebs. Additionally, the inside was only cleaned in obvious areas. The floors were covered in dust and food crumbs, the furniture was dirty, and the refrigerator was pretty gross. A cleaning fee is charged so I’m not sure why we would have to spend any time cleaning up, but it was just too dirty to ignore. This property has great potential but it requires a lot more love and care.

Summary: Overall the property was wonderful aside from the seal on the fridge door being broken before we checked in. I called and messaged the owner about the issue with concerns of keeping our food cold (we had a lot of food) and haven’t heard back at all. It was hard to keep the fridge cold and we had to go out of our way to get ice and kept some food in the coolers. If something goes wrong during your stay, it may be hard to get a hold of the property owner in my experience. Other than these minor issues, our stay was good.

Summary: The O'Brist lakehouse was a great place to spend Father's Day weekend with family. Clean, well-appointed, nice patio and deck overlooking the lake and a beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: It was a wonderful short vacation weekend away. It wasn’t as secluded and private as you would expect from the pictures but we still had the privacy we wanted to enjoy each other’s company. Would love to come again!

Summary: We had lived in this area for most of our lives and know many of the residents on the lake. Only my sister's family and mine stayed there (8 people) but this rental was specifically for my mother's 80th birthday party which i discussed in detail with the property manager the week before we arrived to ensure everything would go smoothly. I was told no problem and there was plenty of space for parking The property was promoted as "Weddings and reunions are welcome." and "the listing can accommodate a gathering of 25 or more attendees." We checked in and really like the cabin even with construction materials surrounding the place. We were aware they were working on the dock and that it would not be available but we did not know there would be ongoing work while we were there. We woke up to a noisy backhoe moving dirt back and forth right outside. That went on for over an hour. We had my mom's party mid afternoon on Saturday. There was probably 30-40 people attending, older adults and a few grandchildren, and we had acoustic musicians playing. Right in the middle of the event up storms the owner who i thought had stopped to check in on us to make sure everything was good, as has been my experience with past VRBO rentals. Instead he was very agitated and in front of everyone he asked me to step aside because he didnt want to embarrass me. He proceeded to complain about the cars out front. And said we had not rented that part. (It was a parking lot right in front of the cabin that goes with a lodge he owns that is not occupied and is also under construction) He also said the neighbors drive was blocked but my brother checked with her that morning while she was mowing and she said they would not be there the rest of the weekend so there was no problem. Even after telling him all this he was still rude and said he was going to change his ad and "will not do this again." He has no worries from us because i will never do business with him again either. He was seen taking pictures of the cars. This could have been beautiful but this part was so disappointing. We did finish our stay one more day and left the place just like we found it as we always do.

Summary: Loved our stay! Plenty of room for staff to relax, rest and enjoy. We had a Qigong teacher come for part of the time. Beautiful setting for Qigong on the lawn by the lake. After a stressful, difficult year, this group of folks deserved such a treat. Thank you!
