Positive: We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and weren’t disappointed. You have a person dedicated to you instead of a reception - you can contact over WhatsApp with requirements and have a schedule on the app where you can check what’s available and make bookings. Great food options Several services included based on your stay length like spa treatments, dinner at the underwater restaurant and sunset cruise. The staff are super friendly and there’s different activities everyday. Plenty to explore and access to the other nearby family hotel. There’s a connection to their sister hotel Oblu experience Ailafushi which is open for families but you have full access.
Negative: Depending on where you are staying on the island you can be in for quite a walk back and forth, but often staff can give you a lift - especially for longer distances like the underwater restaurant. We stayed in a water villa with access for snorkelling and a private swimming pool - which was great as some days we couldn’t swim due to rougher seas. If you get bad weather it can get noisy at night as expected. The water sports can be a bit pricey but we did the jet ski tour of 50 mins and it was well worth it visiting a sandbank.

Positive: We thoroughly researched our Maldives stay, and we are so glad we chose Lobigili. This trip was to celebrate our anniversary and the proposal that had happened just a few days earlier, and it could not have been more perfect. Even though it was technically low season, we had glorious weather every single day. From the moment we stepped off the 20-minute transfer from Malé, we felt like we had arrived on a remote island paradise. Our water villa was out of this world — spacious, beautifully designed, and with uninterrupted ocean views. The food was consistently delicious, with every meal feeling like a treat. The gym was breathtaking, making workouts an absolute pleasure. Ruchi took such wonderful care of us throughout our stay, and every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The house reef may not be the most vibrant we’ve seen, but it still gave us unforgettable moments — swimming with turtles, reef sharks, and even manta rays. Lobigili exceeded every expectation, and we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already dreaming of returning.

Positive: Fantastic location, great reef directly outside rooms with lots of fish and even sharks (not the human bitey types). Staff could not do more to make stay excellent all round and food, especially fish and beef were best I've had anywhere
Negative: Hard to ignore that Maldives is an expensive destination compared to pretty much everywhere else.

Positive: My stay at this resort was filled with wonderful experiences, especially thanks to the fantastic staff. Our butler, Maryam, was attentive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed. To celebrate our anniversary, the resort surprised us with a beautifully decorated villa and a delicious cake, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our trip was the variety of activities available. We had an amazing time parasailing, and I want to give a special thanks to Ali and Naif for making that experience unforgettable. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made it an adventure we’ll always remember.
Negative: There’s one thing to keep in mind—many of the resort's offerings, such as dining in the underwater restaurant and other activities, require a minimum stay of four days. Unfortunately, this means if you’re staying for a shorter period, you might miss out on some of the exclusive experiences.
