Positive: Convenient location to the whale sharks and town, tho a long way from airport. Staff, especially Pipi were very helpful.

Negative: Place was a little tired looking. Pool out for maintenance and cleaning so didn’t get to use it. Strong odour in bathrooms.

Positive: We had three wonderful days at the Oceana Dive Hotel in Gorontalo. The hotel is perfectly located for the ferry to the Togian Islands. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast is plentiful. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Positive: Beachfront accommodation very close to the port, with free transfers. For 100,000 IDR you can check in early. Comfortable and clean room, no noise. Very well-maintained facilities, attentive staff, and impeccable service. The food is delicious. Ms. Pipi is very helpful and facilitates any arrangements you may need. Highly recommended.

Positive: Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The new pool that is being installed will be fabulous. Enjoyed looking at the view across the water from the restaurant.

Negative: Transport is required to go to town as walking is not a practical option.

Positive: Pipi is the perfect host. She help us a lot to find a solution to get to togian isalnd. She also wait us for the check in until late night because we were late. The structure is just above the sea and room is clean. Everything was perfect! Also the breakfast was very good! Thanks is not enough! Highly recommend place!

Negative: The rooms don't really have sea views, and actually courtains had to remain closed because the windows were in front of the main hall/restaurant.

Positive: Ms phi phi contacted me as soon as I made the booking, she was so helpful in arrangements for my transfer from the airport, she also organized the whale watching tour and got me in contact with a local agent for onward travel. Ms phi phi went above and beyond what an employee would normally do. There was a good wi-fi connection, and I had a sunbed moved so locals from the restaurant did not have to see me!

Negative: I was the first guest from the UK, so the resort is obviously not used to Europeans, A menu in English would help, as most of the staff do not speak English.
