Through the garden gate, past the stained glass, you will be shocked by the spectacular scenery. You'll think you stepped into an Island Paradise. Out to the ultimate backyard, the ocean beckons you to relax. Sitting in the hot spa & overlooking the Ocean with wine, What a life! What could be better than that?
The space
Welcome to our paradise home!
This unique 2730 sq. ft house with 1054 sq. ft. DECK & 1000 sq. ft.Planting area has some features, the stained glass windows make it very pretty and unique, you can watch the beautiful moon and star through the bedroom high ceiling window when you lay in bed at night, master bedroom with a sunroom which you can enjoy the ocean roaring, romantic sunset and sunrise in bed. The command central kitchen looks over the bar area, living/family area looks straight to the ocean. The family area and master bedroom all have fireplaces for cozy nights. Living area with the perfect place to watch TV and the beautiful ocean at the same time! The formal dining area has a majestic view and an awesome and decent dining table with 102” x 44” for entertaining. Whoever is in the room will love the view! Circular staircase leads to the incredible upstairs bedrooms. There's a captain's nest upstairs from the second bedroom which the kids will really like! The yard has a beautiful planting area where you can sit to enjoy the flowers and plants and the ocean. Island living on the Mainland. You'll be amazed!

Please allow the homeowner or service access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection for emergencies.

Summary: We checked in and as soon as you open the door, just felt like you were in a whole new world! The views were breath taking and even though it was breezy, just couldn’t walk away from the view. Family felt like they were in Hawaii lol kids enjoyed the jacuzzi at night and watched the stars and everything was jus perfect

Summary: This property was fantastic! The location can't be beat. The view from the back patio is mesmerizing, especially from the enclosed sun deck in the master bedroom. The house is very well equipped and the hosts were very gracious by leaving a nice bottle of wine and some snacks. Plenty of space for 6 people and bed for everybody. The neighborhood is quiet and is walkable to a few parks in the immediate area. If our family visits LA again, this will certainly be the place to stay!

Summary: Property and view is wonderful. Plenty of outside seating and indoor seating. Not really a 3 bedroom. The loft should not count as a bedroom. It is quite steep for an adult to climb, but I would not want kids to climb it either. Sleep 8 adults, not 10 as advertised. Could sleep 8 adults and 2 small children. We were fine since there were 7 of us.

Summary: A group of us stayed at the property for a friends wedding nearby. Josh and joy were beyond accommodating and very thoughtful and communicative. They had toys for the children that were going to come and also made up a crib. The views of the ocean are unbeatable - we saw whales and dolphins. It is also a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again

Summary: When you sit on the deck of this fabulous property, and gaze across the flowers directly at the blue pacific, you will feel like you have rented your personal slice of paradise. It is high on a cliff, so that you have a purely unobstructed view of the ocean. The house is in a convenient location, on a dead-end street, with very little traffic and quiet neighbors. I needed a place to calm my spirit, and this place fit the bill. It is a quirky older house with unique antique features that I found fascinating. I stayed for an entire month, and if I had any issues at all, Joshua and Joy were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure every day of my stay was perfect! The house is very well-equipped and had everything I needed to live there for a month with my family. If you are considering renting this property, don't hesitate! It is a wonderful place to stay, with wonderful owners...a little slice of paradise!

Summary: Beautiful view and home (albeit a bit outdated), and it’s priced accordingly and property manager was very helpful. Great experience overall. Water pressure and temp control in 2 of 3 bathrooms could use some work. Suggestion: include at least one blow dryer.

Summary: I have nothing but good things to say about this home. This property has an amazing view, great backyard, large home with plenty of room. There is a 1 mile walk to the beach, or a quick drive, but I prefer the walk as it is meant for those that enjoy hikes and those that like to take in the scenery. The view of Catalina on a clear day is absolutely breathtaking. The host was great and very quick to respond to any questions.
