Well-appointed, it has two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, the other with two twin beds, and one bathroom. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a vacation for a small family.
With its remodel in 2011and further enhancements in 2018, the cottage continues as an upscale retreat for its owners and guests. Sitting above Wright’s Beach, views dominate from nearly every room, and intense ocean scenes are customary. From the beautifully designed deck and spa, you will relax, unwind, and feel what the power of the sea can do for your soul.
The ocean is not the only attraction. There is wildlife everywhere. Birds, whales, and fox (the cottage’s namesake) are just a sampling. From two short paths – Monterey Pine Path, and Bluff Path, you will enjoy the coastal landscape and incredible views. The spacious lot hosts a majestic, intricately intertwined, 40-year old Monterey Pine tree, with a path under its canopy and a stone bench to sit and admire natural arbor artistry. The Bluff Path takes you down to a bench amongst the freshwater springs, flowering foliage, with the vast ocean below.
Furnishings reflect a commitment to clean contemporary design, local art, and attention to detail. Summary: My partner and I went up to get away and relax for a few days. Coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean in the morning, wine in the hot tub in the afternoon, and cuddles watching the sunset. Perfect way to spend each day.

Summary: My husband and I were excited to drive up to this enchanting little home. The beautiful gardens welcomed us to a cozy, clean home with beautiful views of the beach below. We enjoyed the evening sunsets in the large hot tub on the back deck. The bed was very comfortable, linens were quality and towels were plush. We will be back! A happy couple on a birthday getaway

Summary: My family and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time immensely. We loved watching the sunset from the hot tub. There were so many beaches close by to drive to, as well as the main town. Property was just as described and owner was quick to respond to any messages. My children also enjoyed the movie selection in the living room. We would definitely return!

Summary: Every year my sister's and I have a getaway weekend and this one was our very favorite stay ever!The home is so beautiful and welcoming. The pictures don't give the views justice, they are better than any other in the area.The hot tub was large and clean and with the giant deck, made for a great way for us all to pick our favorite spots.We will be renting this home here again, and again.

Summary: We came for my fiancés birthday and stayed 2 1/2 days. We spoke with the property manager right before our arrival. She was super helpful and courteous. When we came in the home we found it just perfect for the four of us. It was super clean and comfy. We strolled down to the beach several times throughout our stay, and With the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean it was a perfect relaxing little Birthday get away. The sunsets were the icing on the cake!

Summary: Overall we loved our stay here. The home is very comfortable and clean, the view is spectacular, and the area is an absolutely gorgeous place to vacation. It was everything we wanted. I commend the host for such comfortable bedding too. I will mention a few things for future renters to be aware of, and maybe a couple of suggestions for the host: we arrived to area later in the evening. All local grocery stores close at 7, so we couldn’t grab some essentials before heading to the house. We were devastated to learn upon arrival that there was no coffee. I’ve stayed in quite a few short term rentals and they ALWAYS have coffee. I’ve also come to expect a little basket of snacks. It’s just a nicety. Also, there is no cell service in this area. The check-in information didn’t warn us to pre-download a map and to have the check-in code available. The instructions DO SAY “write the code down” but not “write down the code, you won’t have cell service.” So I honestly didn’t put that together. Luckily I somehow managed to remember the code. There is no street lighting or outside lighting to the house, so parking was tricky (there’s a very narrow strip in front of the house for parking—no driveway). Once inside it was SO COLD. The heating system should be turned on before guests arrive. It took hours to warm up. The hot tub is very nice and we would’ve enjoyed it immensely, but this is an EXTREMELY windy location, so that impeded enjoyment somewhat. No beach access. And ants.
