Coco Sunset Hills is a sprawling gated community with 6 amazing pools, beautiful landscaping, and lots of parking. This complex is just a short walk to two large plazas (Pueblito Norte and Pueblito Sur) that are home to many fantastic restaurants, a coffee shop, a grocery store, a day spa, a medical office, and more! Cross the street and you’re on the beach path, just another 1-minute walk to the beautiful sand of Coco Beach. You’ll find many, many more restaurants as well as shops, a casino, and 3 large grocery stores in Downtown Coco, just a 10-minute walk from your door.
Playas del Coco is just a 25-minute drive from Daniel Oduber Quirós international airport in Liberia. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!
The main floor of the condo is perched high above the Coco Sunset Hills gated community. Enter into the open living space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and comfortable living space. Just off the living space is the bedroom with a comfy Queen bed and a 3-piece bathroom. Enjoy ocean views from both the living room and bedroom. Head upstairs to the spacious rooftop terrace with a covered seating area, lounge chairs, a BBQ and mini-fridge, and a combination washer/dryer. The condo comes equipped with all linens including beach towels, bath towels, and bedding. There is wifi throughout the condo, as well as in the common pool areas.
Please note that with rooftop views comes a bit of a climb. This unit is accessed via a staircase and is, unfortunately, not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Summary: The condo was clean, contained basic essentials and the patio has great views of the surrounding area. The complex is maintained, pools are clean and 24 hr security. The condo is very tight with the bedroom having essentially no closet space or room to store a suitcase. It is important to note that the listing says 990 sq. ft. and this includes 495 sq. ft of patio. Combining the size of the patio and the actual condo living space is misleading at best.

Summary: We loved our condo great location , great view , clean , near the beach ... one complaint not about the condo but about the complex ... there was loose gravel all over the driveway and I rolled my ankle an had to have surgery and I understood from other residents that this has been a complaint for a long time ... I forwarded my concerns to the property agent but did not recieve a response ... this would not deture me from returning to Costa Rica and this area it is lovely and the people are wonderful ... just maybe should check on this safety hazzard .. thank you

Summary: Small but efficient one bedroom condo with a large rooftop patio and a nice view. Kitchen is stocked with everything you may need. Nice gated community with at least 4 pools. We lost water 3 times which was inconvenient.

Summary: We stayed for 2 weeks including christmas and new year's eve. The apartment is nice and clean, views are great and the location good. We had some trouble with the washing machine but they solved it the next day. The gated resort is clean, well maintained and easy to get to. Overal it was a great time and we recommend it.

Summary: The unit is a good value, but definitely small and older. The rooftop deck is really great, with sunset and water views and shaded, so you can be there in the middle of the day, too. The complex is really nice, well-kept, secure, and with nice pools for cooling off. Neighborhood is good too, feels safe for walking to close restaurants at night. The reason for a 4 (not 5), is a couple of fixable things, like broken washing machine hose on the deck, so deck floods, and broken flip top garbage can.

Summary: I stayed at coco sunset hills with my sister and we absolutely loved it! The property is gorgeous and is in a great location, you can walk to coco beach or to the town very easily! The community feels very safe and we loved that there was a gate and a guard to get into the property! The rooftop terrace has the most amazing view and all of the pools in the complex are amazing!! I would definetly stay here again!!
