Positive: The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The design is stunning and everything has been really well thought out throughout. It’s a lovely place to really switch off and enjoy some quiet in nature. We even saw fireflies as we were falling asleep!
Negative: Unfortunately it seems like the cabin has not been very well maintained which is such a shame! One of the doors does not close properly because the bolt has rusted, meaning anything can get in and there were a lot of bugs and other ‘visitors’ all over the cabin. It also means the cabin is not able to be fully locked. The fan didn’t work which was tough because of how hot and humid it is there. We also cooked our dinner there but it was clear a lot of things had not been cleaned (mould on dishes, in the coffee maker, in the coffee itself etc). The WiFi also didn’t work and the hammock outside was broken. Given it’s not a cheap stay, this place could be so much more amazing if these things were fixed.

Positive: This place was magical, like walking into a fairytale hideaway! So exciting! Despite our being very late, the hosts waited for us to show us down the path and into the cabin. It was unbelievable! With netting in lieu of windows, it is open to all the beautiful sounds and freshness of nature. The accommodations lacked for nothing and we slept very well. We could not have been happier! We did a walk of the road in the morning and the "jungle" was breathtaking. The hosts were particularly conscious about staying in contact for our arrival and making sure we were comfortable.
Negative: We did not shower here. As water pressure and temperature are a top item for me when I read reviews, I simply cannot comment on them at this location.
