1 Bedroom Villa in Old Man Bay

Old Man Bay is a quaint little cluster of homes and a church on the north side of the island. This idyllic setting, with no crowds and no noise, allows for an authentic island experience and what you've come to Cayman for: Peace, quiet and tranquility.
Villa #1 and Villa #2 are one bedroom units, with the Master Bedroom and ensuite washroom located on the 2nd floor. On the main floor is your fully-equipped kitchen, living room, powder room, and a stacking washer & dryer.
The sofa in the living room is also a pull-out queen sized bed. There is a large screened in porch with a table & 4 chairs for dining, and a lounge area beside it.
Villa #1 is unique in that is has a very large, fully enclosed, patio. It also has a BBQ and large dining table on the patio.
The ocean is just across the street and down a short path, a 3-5 minute walk. Here, you will find a pristine and likely deserted beach, as the picture shows. You can walk for miles in either direction. We recommend reef shoes for going in the water, especially if you have children. You can also snorkel here or launch your wind-surfer.

Summary: We enjoyed the privacy. As stated in the listing it was across the street and only steps away from the ocean. There is no veiw of the ocean but a big enclosed space to relax in. We woke up to jack hammers, due to construction next door, the 1st morning. The couch in the living room is uncomfortable. The kitchen had every appliance you could ask for except a pizza pan. Dishes and pots and pans all up to date. Small but efficent.

Summary: It was everything we had reserved for our stay and even more. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed plus extra. We were just a walk away from our own beach location. Stores and restaurants were plentiful and within walking distance. I loved our feeling of being home. It was a beautiful stay and we will book again. It was restful and the owner was so helpful and immediate to respond. Loved Loved it.

Summary: This place is as exactly what our family of 3 needed for a week stay. The kitchen is very small but equipped with anything you can think of it. Cooking meals was a breeze. Check in and checkout was really easy. House was very clean and the AC and fans keep us comfortable throughout our stay. A rental car is a must. There are few attractions on the area but you’ll need to drive to get to many others. Even though the island is not that big, there is definitely more of a city feel to it when you drive to Georgetown and main beaches. Be aware that the beaches on this side of the island are rocky. To find white sand beaches and turquoise water without algae, you will need to drive approximately between 45 minutes to an hour. The upside of staying in this area is the peace and tranquillity that you most likely won’t find closer to the main tourist area. The big cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, sun screens and even ice packs were definitely appreciated. When purchasing souvenirs, make sure to visit the store right across from the Tukka restaurant. Beautiful and authentic pieces with great prices.

Summary: Very nice Villa, everything was exactly as stated. The beach just across the road was never crowded. Ollie is great, he even offered to help us with our luggage when we arrived and gave us a tour of the Villa. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This is an outstanding property with excellent response and service from the property manager. The location was wonderful to be in a quiet area with easy access to numerous parts of the island. Bed was comfy, kitchen was well-stocked with pans/dishes (and even some spices, coffee, etc.) Loved having the beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear! The enclosed patio dining area was a true delight! Air conditioning worked well and the washer/dryer were helpful to wash clothes during our stay. This place was CLEAN! The beach across the street is ok but much nicer ones within a short distance. Worth the drive to head just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay again. Truly a joy to spend the few days resting here in paradise! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
