Positive: We really liked that the property had a quirky charm, with beautiful, thoughtfully chosen furnishings that gave it plenty of character. It felt unique and inviting, rather than just another generic holiday let. The location was excellent for exploring — just a short drive to the Forest and a range of other attractions, making it an ideal base for day trips. We also appreciated the generally peaceful setting, which made it easy to relax and unwind, with only occasional background traffic noise from the main road.
Negative: Upon arrival, there appeared to be a parking area to the right of the property, which seemed like the natural place to park given the limited space directly in front. However, there were no parking instructions in the booking details or welcome information, and a neighbour later mentioned that parking there was not permitted. It would be helpful if the listing included clear guidance on where guests can park, particularly for those with larger vehicles, as they may need to use the nearby lay-by instead. This would avoid any confusion and ensure a smoother arrival experience.
