Positive: Its a lovely, well maintained, ideal place to stay. Its really quiet being really out in the countryside. The explanations of how everything worked were really well documented with everything in the same folder. The heating was very responsive and when the temperature was raised on the individual heaters the response was automatic. The lodge had plenty of space and is easily big enough for a couple or a couple with kids if need be. Although I didn't use it because it was the wrong time of year there was a lovely table and chairs on the south facing side which would be lovely in the summer. Another thing I didn't use was the short walk through the lovely wood at the side of the property which would have taken me to one of the local pubs. Shame I was there at the wrong time of year. I was actually there for the Cheltenham racing festival and the place was ideal since it was just a 20 min drive to the Arles Court park and ride where there were special racing buses provided making the journey house to course about 1 hour in total with no stress at all. I really enjoyed my stay there and definitely plan to return.
Negative: The bath because I am only used to a shower nowadays. But I did speak to the owners and they said they were thinking of replacing the bath with a shower anyway.
Summary: Clean, like new, quiet and ideally placed.
