Positive: The room was clean, the staff were lovely, the shower was hot, the little kitchen in the room was surprisingly well equipped, could see and hear the sea from our balcony. Lovely hotel, I have stayed here twice now as I was so happy the first time. Good places to eat nearby, especially Mike Hotel.

Positive: Excellent apartments, very clean and modern and extremely comfy beds. Lovely pool area and most days we were the only people at the pool. Immediately behind the excellent Wave restaurant and loads of other restaurants nearby. About 50 yards from the rocky beach. 5-10 mins walk away from bus stop to Chania town which took about 40 mins. Initially we thought Maleme might be too quiet but having seen the other resorts on the way to Chania, we made the right decision. The staff were excellent and Sophia checked with the airport and then booked me a taxi to the lost property office when I realised I had left my glasses on the plane.
Negative: Honestly the only thing missing was a bedside light of some sort in bedroom 2 and maybe an instruction book for the android tv lol

Positive: We had a wonderful vacation staying in Oliva Beach hotel. It is located in a calm and cozy neighborhood, no crowds at all. We got a room on the top floor with a scenic sea view and a balcony where we usually had breakfast. The room has all the necessary facilities. They also suggest an olive oil from local farm in each room. It was very delicious, and we even bought a bottle to take it home. The room was especially clean, and the cleaning was done once in two days. There are couple of good restaurants with greek cuisine 5 min walk away (I would especially admit The Wave and Mythos). There are also some pebble beaches nearby. We had a car, so we usually traveled to sandy beaches (15 min ride to Platania and Agia Marina and 1.5 hours to Balos and Elafonisi). There is a good swimming pool with umbrellas and sunbeds. We found it especially useful during windy days when swimming in the sea was forbidden. Manager Sophia was also easy to communicate with.
Negative: Some of the facilities had minor issues (clothes dryer was broken, fire alarm malfunction), but I wouldn't consider them as major issues. Besides, it was said that the hotel will go under renovation at the end of 2025, so, I assume, those issues will be resolved.

Positive: A very nice place to relax and enjoy Crete. We love it because it is situated in a quiet area. At any time of the day, you can hear the waves from the balcony. The staff is very friendly, and we received excellent service. The room was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided every second day. Even though we did not use it, the pool looked very nice and was cleaned every evening.
