Summary: The house offers a fantastic view over the Lago. Everything you need is available at the house. The host is very helpful if yoy need anything. The tip for a restaurant with the best view ever was great too.

Summary: The property is large and relatively well equipped. Views of the lake are magnificent. Bellagio centre is less than ten minutes drive. Bellagio is a beautiful place and a good place to catch the ferry to Como and the mid-lake shuttle to Varenna in particular. The villa is situated above and alongside the main uphill road to Bellagio from Lecco and Milan. It is a busy road. The blind bend where it is situated causes many drivers to blow their horns on approaching. Buses and large vehicles blow their horns repeatedly. Hence sitting in the garden is not quiet. Add to that that the large amount of motorbikes at the weekend, akin to the Isle of Man TT, it is noisy. It’s a shame as it is a good holiday villa. Whilst there we didn’t see the pool, boat or kayaks referred to in the description. Across the road, and down a slope is a small public beach.. The best and really only beach is at San Giovanni, ten minutes drive away. Lecco is the best place for a large Supermarket and we caught the train from there into Milan. It’s half an hour by car, though there is a regular bus and ferry service to Lecco. We had an excellent holiday in the region. Yes, it could get noisy but it was also entertaining spotting the supercars going to Bellagio.

Summary: This house was adorable and served its function for a family of four. We appreciated that it was completely fenced in and had a yard. Gorgeous views of the water off the balcony! Inside, we could have had a few more staples supplied for us like hand soap and toilet paper. There wasnt even salt and pepper. The markets have short hours and are not that close so this was a bit annoying. Also couldnt figure out the tv. We enjoyed the disconnection of no tv or wifi so we could have quality family time. Across the road and down a path there is a great little swimming area. Also, its at a blind turn so you get some honking through the day. Not too much at night. The place was adequate and the view very nice.

Summary: Franco's place was just what we wanted. A private house, plenty of space, beautiful views of the lake, a terrace we used to sit out and read/relax. It's a minute or two from Bellagio by car which was wonderful for exploring. If he adds internet, which I believe he is, it would complete the stay. If you're looking for some privacy and relaxation with beautiful views, this is your place!
