Riverfront Cabin - Historic Log Cabin Inn
Start making those special memories together in this beautiful riverfront 2 bedroom cabin with modern conveniences and a huge screened-in porch. Georgia pine interior walls and ceilings with Douglas Fir floors and a cozy river rock fireplace.
Come stay in one of the most gorgeous settings imaginable. The Mckenzie River is known as one of the cleanest rivers in the US, offering you a pristine playground to enjoy on your next vacation or weekend getaway.
Downstairs you'll find the kitchen, living room with queen sofa bed and gas fireplace, and massive screened in porch to enjoy meals family and friends or a book with the backdrop of the Mckenzie River.
The master bedroom is downstairs and offers a private bath with tub. There is a QUEEN size bed and a large window seat looking out to the river.
Upstairs, there is another bedroom and bath. There is a QUEEN size also looking out to the river.
Guests will have access to the entire cabin and the grounds on the entire Log Cabin Inn property, including all the river frontage. There are other cabins nearby. The laws and firepit and river access are communal to all.
There is a lockbox to access the cabin so you can check in on your own. I am available as needed during your stay.
Catch native trout and steelhead right off the bank, just feet from your screened-in porch. Hike or bike the Mckenzie River Trail, literally one minute away. Whitewater raft or kayak the river, or waterski at Cougar or Blue River Reservoirs. Tee it up at Tokatee Golf Course, just 5 minutes west, or Black Butte Ranch about 45 minutes east of the cabin.
There are two natural hot springs within minutes.

Summary: We enjoyed our time at Riverfront Sanctuary! Everything was perfect, clean, well appointed and cozy. I would highly recommend the area for any outdoor activities. There are many activities in the area, good restaurants, grocery store etc. Just staying inside, enjoying all the games, etc made available make this a wonderful rental!

Summary: What a gem. We will definitely be back. The location was perfect for us. We loved the screened in back porch and spent as much time as possible out there enjoying the river views. Summary: The sound of the river immediately relaxes you. The screened in porch is the perfect spot to enjoy the view of the McKenzie, read a book, or sip on a favorite beverage. The cabin is clean and comfortable and well equipped. No clutter helps clear the mind. The grounds are beautiful. Trees, lawns, flowers, pathways and more trees! A beautiful spot to enjoy nature and activities like hiking, rafting, nearby golf and a hot spring pool. Highly recommend!!
