Summary: My brother in law and his wife helped us move up here, this rental was a thank you. They are modest people who were a bit leery of a fancy rental from the internet so I was happy to find this little gem. They were over the moon about the coziness of the cabin, the amenities and especially the river view. Now they are hoping to come back up and stay there again.

Summary: The setting of this cabin is amazing! Right on the river with river access and a place to sit with a fire pit. There was information left out of the listing that would be important to know when deciding to rent this place. First, the owner didn’t contact us with check in information, I arrived and had to message her through the app and then she responded asking me to call her to get the info, luckily it was not late at night. The inside of the house was actually quite well cared for, I think that the toilets are old and the water has been sitting for a long time as everything seemed to have been recently cleaned. The original owner of the house has his stuff left in place as if he walked out one day and never came back, there are prescriptions in the cabinets from 2001, expired food in the fridge and cupboards from early 2000’s, garbage under the beds, clothing in the closets, and family information/paperwork all throughout the home. Most Important to know, there are human graves throughout the property and one of them says that the original owner was murdered. It turns out that the person whose prescriptions were in the home belonged to the person who was murdered by a neighbor on the property. I think this could be remedied by being sure to put in the ad that there are human graves present and to remove all of the owners personal and expired effects. It was a very uncomfortable experience to be in his private space after he was murdered outside.

Summary: My boyfriend and I rented this enchanting cabin in the woods for Valentines weekend. It was perfect. The gorgeous relaxing river veiw with wrap around porch with chairs to relax in, cozy fireplace with river view and great location close to two hot springs and Sahalie falls. Highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again in the summer. Our only negative was the dirty toilet bowls but we can live with that lol.

Summary: Had a lovely time at Denise’s riverside cabin. Cozy place had everything we needed to cook meals, it was a short drive to soak at the fabulous Terwilliger hot springs, and what a delight to fall asleep to the sounds of the river. Can’t wait to come back
