One of a kind fully renovated historic boathouse. This one bedroom 2 bath (one with a private outside shower) Villa sets directly ,not next to, but DIRECTLY OVER the water which provides for unique, unbelievable, million dollar views. The VILLA has a 360 degree lower deck where you can simply step out the sliding glass doors and fish (poles provided), canoe (canoe provided), swim, play ping pong, feed the ducks and fish, or simply relax while taking in all that, fresh water lake living has to offer. The upper deck is 180 degrees and is directly off the master bedroom, where you can enjoy your morning coffee, evening cocktails or just watching a romantic sunset and, of course, the master has a brand new king bed for your comfort. The lake is totally surrounded by beautiful trees that put on a colorful show, each day, as the sun rises and sets, and it has its own private beach. The property has it's own shuffle board court and over one acre of beautiful property which is located in a rural setting but surrounded by million dollar homes, which offers seclusion as well as total security. The villa is located just 15-20 minutes from Tampa International Airport,25 minutes from Raymond James Stadium and Yankee/Steinbrenner Stadium , 40 minutes to Philly's spring training facility, 45 minutes to Clearwater Beach, 45 minutes to downtown Tampa and Ybor City , 30 minutes to Busch Gardens and 1.5 hours from Orlando's amusement parks. There are no less than 15 golf courses within 20 minutes from the villa including TPC Of Tampa Bay, all of which are open to the public. Summary: Took long weekend to escape Boston weather and do some fishing and relaxing with my wife (I fished, she relaxed). This place was excellent for both. The decks were amazing as was the view from the bedroom. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Great location as well.For those interested in fishing- I went out on the canoe much of the day and caught about a dozen fish in 2 days- all largemouth bass. I use lures but there is a bait shop nearby. All were under 2 pounds, but I lost one that I was sure was bigger. The fishing pressure is very low, I didn’t see anyone else out on the water fishing, which made them easier to catch.There is a small channel which connects this lake to Rock lake and I had some luck there as well.

Summary: The location, experience, and house itself were all perfect. Easy access to everywhere you need to go in the Tampa metro but it feels secluded and private. The views are STUNNER and the owner is extremely accommodating to all needs of the guest. We highly recommend if you are looking for a private getaway with easy access to everything in the bay area.

Summary: Very quiet and serene. Loved spending time on the dock reading, fishing, and grilling. Boathouse was clean and comfortable and we loved all the windows with screens. Neighborhood was quiet and pedestrian friendly. Hosts were accommodating and easy to contact. Definitely recommend.

Summary: It was just as we hoped it would be. Wonderful to wake up looking out onto a lake. Huge master bedroom, although no door on master bathroom. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Summary: Had a good time at this property. We were able to take a walk every morning around the neighborhood. Fished every day. Caught and released two fish the first day. We didn’t have any luck feeding the fish. The turtles would periodically pop up to say hello. We took the canoe out one evening. The last morning an otter swam by the dock. Spectacular views!
