Summary: Wonderful holiday home with beautiful garden in a relaxing and very green rural setting. We loved eating in the sun room dining area and the house and kitchen were equipped with everything needed for a great stay. We took our baby and a full size cot and high chair were provided along with some greatly appreciated toys. The house is well located for trips to towns, coast and countryside. Thank you we loved our stay!

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay at the nicely rebuild Galician farm of Anna and Roger. They are welcoming hosts, who are available for questions or a chat but also try to give you your privacy. The house is a rebuild old farm that has kept most of it's charm. This might mean that you bump you head once in a while against a doorpost that's a bit lower than you'r used to, but overall everything is as it should be. The conservatory (dining room) is a really nice and light place to have your breakfast or dinner and lunch when Galicia shows it's less kind weather. The kitchen is small and basic but it will be enough for your everyday cooking. There is all you need in terms of cookware. The beds are of good quality. Something that is mostly overlooked in other houses. Although an extra wardrobe might be practical. In the evenings the efficient wood stove gives an extra cosiness. But what's the real treat is the beautiful Galician surroundings and the hospitality of Anna and Roger and their daughter. Our children were used to a pool next to a vacation home, but didn't miss it once because of the trampoline, the large garden (with hose) and our hosts. Thanks for a really nice week

Summary: Renovated old farm house with impressive gardens. Not directly on the coast, but hidden about 30 minutes away by car in the hilly hinterland where you rarely meet other tourists. Hiking in the surrounding villages and forests is great fun, but you can of course make your trips to the coast and the bigger cities of the region as well. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly, relaxed and helpful, there weren't any problems.

Summary: My friend and I stayed in casita del sur for 8 days. we didn't have a car. We came from the airport in santiago and got to Padron by train. There we took a taxi to this casita. This casita is beautifull renovated. It has all the luxury you want, but the old typical Galician style is remained. Renovated with a Galician heart. Perfect kitchen, all tools available, great bathroom, great terrace, garden, great livingroom too which we didn't used because of the great weather. Ow yes, and a supurb sleepingroom with a great bed!! Never slept better on a holiday! The casita is surrounded by a great garden, the back yard is nice to chill in, with a nice open view, the front yard is full of plants and flowers. Nice small gardening details. :-) We had no car but two mountainbikes were available. We did most by feet. In Soar, a small village nearby (4km) is a small grocery. All basic food we needed we found there. A very nice shopkeeper as well, had a small bar inside where we tasted Albariño and Ribeiro. Too much in fact. Nearby is also a great pub: bar Giao, typical Galician bar. Nice owner as well, Javi, and very good wine and food. Had a lot of fun there. Nature is lovely there, we made loads of walks, all nearby because we had no car. You don't have to go far to enjoy the beautifull nature en small villages. The owners of the cottages were on holiday, so we had all information and help from Pili, a neighbour of the owners. She was lovely, she took very good care of us. She gave us a lift to Rio Jerez, a 15km from Rebon the Arriba. What a spot, what a place, what a river. Thank you for that Pili. We spend there one day completely alone... it was magic. And also many walks to make alongside the river. We walked also to Santa Lucia de Moraña (7km) , where we took part of the festa do Carneiro. And at night we enjoyed lifemusic of Milladoiro, a popular Galician Band, which was a great surprise. Great party in the town. Then we got back by feet, which was a bit harder. Luckely we got lift. And it was always nice to get back in the casita, where we could sit at the table, outside, or laid back in the garden watching millions of stars. After one week, my friend and I realised we had to come back to see more... for the lovely casita, the area, the walks, the food, the wine the Gallegos, the culture. Thank you Pili for taking care of us, and thank you Anna and Roger for the lovely casita on a lovely spot. We come back. Sylvie and Hilde

Summary: We already knew Galicia is a great area to spend holidays but with staying in this beautiful cottage it almost became Paradise. The owners created such a nice, quiet, well maintained house in a very green peaceful area! We, family with two daughters (age 11 and 14) never were bored but enjoyed Galicia at the max; wandering through the forest, playing in the river down the garden, kayaking in Rianxo, going to the many beaches, etc. But also spending lots of time in and around the cottage with books, cooking and of course our Ipads thanks to the good WiFi service. I love cooking and the well equiped kitchen gave the oportunity doing it! Although many houses are nice to stay in, many unfortunately do not have great beds; in this cottage however we slept like babies in a good bed. In short: it was a great holiday at O Curralino and we sure will be back!

Summary: What a relaxing week, the old stone cottage has been lovingly restored, it had a great feel to it, huge thick stone walls, vines growing over the veranda, a beautiful garden that you could just sit in all day and watch the landscape. From your bed you have two windows looking out, and all you can see is the sun gradually waking up over the eucalyptus trees. We were staying in Casita del Sur (the smaller 1 bed cottage) and would highly recommend it. You do hear dogs barking, cocks crowing but that just adds to the Spanish neighbourhood feel. We were there in fiesta season which is a bit noisy but great fun to go to. There are almost too many things to do nearby, beautiful beaches, vineyards, rivers to swim in (amazing!) but just sitting out in the garden would be entertainment enough for a week We flew out of Porto which is a gorgeous city and would highly recommend a trip there too. A very lovely place indeed.

Summary: I stayed in Casita Del Norte with my two children (aged 8 and 11). We had a wonderful time! The house is in a beautiful rural location, although perfectly accessible by car and only a short drive from the local town. All the details on the website are very accurate and there is a really helpful folder of information in the house, with lots of good ideas for what to do locally and further afield. We had lots to occupy us; the children loved a nearby river for swimming and also waterfalls with rock slides and pools. The stream at the bottom of the garden also provided endless entertainment, so we didn't have to go far for everyone to be happy! There are public swimming pools in a couple of the local towns too, although we didn't use them. The nearby towns had good bars and restaurants for Menu del dia and there's a very good market in Morana on a Friday: street stalls cooking fresh octopus in giant pots, served on wooden platters with olive oil and paprika - delicious! and a churros stall too. Also, plenty of good shops in the nearby towns for buying fresh produce. The kitchen is very well equipped and it is really delightful sitting out on the terrace, admiring the wonderful view and enjoying the peace and tranquility over breakfast and dinner. Anna and Roger couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. There's no TV aerial at present, but actually it was a relief and the children were more than happy watching the Harry Potter films on DVD. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean and in good working order. Highly recommended. We'll definitely go back to explore the coastline and more of Galicia further afield.
