The Finch House is a beautiful home designed with you in mind. From the moment you walk through the door, the open floor plan and modern conveniences will make you feel right at home. Distinctly appointed, this home offers everything you will need to make your stay all you'd hoped it would be. As you enter, the open kitchen overlooks the dining and living area with a view of the 21 foot tall stone wood burning fireplace. Off the living area, but close to the action, is a cozy sitting and entertainment area, that has a wall mounted 55" smart tv with Xfinity cable. The first floor master offers a king bed, dresser, and night stands. The master bathroom and walk-in closet are located off the bedroom separated by a beautiful barn door. The first floor also has easy access to a powder room, open laundry area and closet. The second floor contains two large bedrooms with a shared bath. The bedroom, with a queen bed, sits overlooking the creek and also contains barn style doors that can be opened to look down on the living area and fireplace or closed for privacy. The second bedroom contains a twin over full bunk and a loft style bunk bed. Decorated in a National Park outdoor theme, this room is designed to get the adventurer juices flowing for both young and old. Continue down the open hall past large old barn beams to the open loft that has views of the creek, living room, and dining area. The loft has a wall mounted 55" smart television, couch and reclining chairs. This home contains plenty of board games, books, and puzzles for all ages.

Summary: This house was huge for just the two of us, and we enjoyed it greatly. Chilly season to be spending too much time outside, but it looked beautiful and peaceful.

Summary: I stayed for a weekend with friends (middle-aged women), and we were all in love with this charming, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable house. Great location - easy to find and close to the town center. Nice spaces to sit outside for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening around a fire to enjoy the sounds of the creek. Inside spaces are exactly as pictured, and the house lacks for nothing - plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, games, books, and even a diffuser with the blow dryer, which was much appreciated by those of us with curls :). Comfortable beds, too. Communication with the hosts was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Summary: The home was perfect. Picture perfect view out the dining room off the patio of a babbling brook, which was so nice to listen too. Very clean, beautiful decorating, comfortable beds, lots of room, and everything you need to home cook meals. The location was great, a short scenic ride to Laural Mountain if you are staying there to ski.

Summary: We couldn’t ask for a better location for a holiday family get together. The Finch House did not disappoint. This house was so beautifully decorated and so very clean. The private location along the creek was so beautiful and peaceful. John was a great host and was available for any questions. My family was so sad to leave. Summary: We spent 3 nights at this beautifully remodeled house. It was easy to find and was exactly as the VRBO ad said. Lots of space for everyone, it was clean, games for the kids, lots of room for entertaining. We will be back. Thankyou for making our trip a 5 Star trip and we can't wait to go back.

Summary: As always the Finch House was an amazing stay! From the open floor plan that provides ample space for our family to spread out and relax, to the comfortable beds, to the large dining table that allowed us to enjoy a meal together Finch House has it all.
