Positive: Beautiful furnishings and a great sense of history. Each room was differently furnished and was quite lovely.
Negative: The lighting in our room was really bad. We couldn’t see to read at all. There were several light fixtures but even together, the light was on the dark side of dim. Some rooms seemed better lit. Otherwise comfortable and attractive.

Positive: The breakfast was based on our choices from various options and was delicious. It was a wonderful experience to be able to stay in a beautiful old house (built 1899) and see it from the inside, rather than driving by. The location was ideal, across the road from Macquarie Harbour.
