Osprey Boat House has a large open plan lounge which has 2 very large settees, large TV with free view, Netflix and Infinity WiFi. The dining area can seat up to 6 people. The kitchen is fully fitted with Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Microwave. Oven and Hob. Patio doors lead from the lounge on to a large walk on Balcony giving you wonderful views of Lake Windermere and the mountains.
There are 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has king size bed bedside cabinets with large fitted wardrobes and plenty of drawer space leading to ensuite shower, basin and toilet and underfloor heating.
Bedroom 2 has king size bed with bedside cabinets, wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets fully fitted wardrobe and drawers.
Family bathroom with bath, over head shower, toilet and basin, with underfloor heating.
There is a room for hanging coats and storing shoes and boots.

Lake Windermere is the largest lake in England and is in the Lake Districts National Park.
A beautiful place with stunning scenery very popular for water sports and plenty of walks available to everyone of all ability.
There are also some exceptionally well known restaurants in the surrounding area.
This property is in walking distance to Bowness where you will find a large choice of shops and restaurants. There is Beatrix Potters Attraction which also has a tea room. Cinema, Tennis, Pitch and Put and lots of different boating opportunities.
On the Glebe you can catch a Steamer to take you up and down the lake. Lakes Aquarium is at the southern end of the lake where you will also find Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. There is also a dedicated bus which will take you to Lakeland Motor Museum.
Ambleside is at the northern end of the lake set amongst breathtaking majestic mountains, it is a very attractive Lakeland village with many outdoor shops and individual shops.
Brockhole is a visitor centre which has large gardens and play area for children which you can call in at when travelling on a steamer.
Blackwell the Arts & Crafts House is about 1 mile away and most definitely worth a visit.
Further afield you have Hill Top at Near Sawrey which is Beatrix Potter's home remaining very much as when she lived there.
Hawkshead is a true Lakeland Village with cobbled streets and clusters of whitewashed cottages huddles around secluded courtyards. There is once again a wide choice of individual shops
Grisedale Forest Park has an extensive range of marked trails.
Tarn Hows is a well known beauty spot which has easy access.
Ulverston is not too far away this is the home town of Stanley Laurel the partner of Oliver Hardy who became the well known slap stick duo Laurel & Hardy.

Summary: Communication with Helen was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable and the location was amazing. It was well stocked fridge with breakfast essentials and a lovely glass of wine to have for dinner.

Summary: Beautiful few days The boathouse provided so many little extras which were very much appreciated. Fresh flowers with basics such as bread , milk and chocolates left on our arrival. Lovely thought. Will be back again.

Summary: An amazing property with a fantastic view. Easy to access and walking distance to Bowness and a short drive to Windermere and Ambleside. The apartment was very clean and had the amenities that you need for a pleasant stay. Great to have the view so you feel like you’re on holiday even if the weather isn’t great.

Summary: High quality accomodation right on Lake Windermere. A short walk from Bowness and all its amenities, 1 minute from the Ferry. Immaculate presentation, very well equipped and attention to detail. A most welcome "Welcome Pack" accompanied by a very thoughtful birthday card and bottle of fizz. Our memorable occasion became just a little bit more memorable. Many thanks to our wonderful host Helen, who we never saw but we felt well attended to! This property is highly recommended to any discerning travellers looking for higher end self catering accomodation in a prime location with beautiful lakeland views.

Summary: Wonderful vacation home. The boat house was totally as described and fit for our needs. Clean luxurious and meticulously maintained it was a great vacation. The lake/marina views combined with a quiet yet very accessible location was amazing. Being able to walk to the ferry was an added bonus.
