Positive: The renovated apartment is really nice, and it felt very comfortable. The living room was my favorite space to be in (primarily because of the size of the TV, but) mostly because it felt like that's where the place comes together. Loved the kitchen, hated the stove. This was a cool place to take a load off and do nothing for a couple days for sure.
Negative: The family downstairs were a bit short with us (minus one sweet lady in a silver Jeep Patriot). It's also worth noting that the neighborhood seems a bit unwelcoming to visitors. This apartment is also located directly next to a cemetery, which was definitely off-putting at first. Some of the areas of the house were a little dirty and had some pretty big spiderwebs, but with this kind of place that's to be expected. (I have to say that the parts of the house that you'll actually spend time in are fairly clean though.) The mattress in the master bedroom was way too firm for me, but my partner liked it. I also wish there was a TV or something in the master bedroom, because there's plenty of empty space in there. ABSOLUTELY HATED the stovetop, sadly only one eye worked.
Summary: Great if you're looking for a simple and semi-affordable place to JUST escape for a bit.
