Positive: The cottage is in a nice, quiet location. It was spotlessly clean with everything you need in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the linen provided was excellent. It's in a brilliant location for short - medium length easy walks. There are -5-off pubs within a 10 minute walk of the cottage, -4- of them serving meals if needed. All in all a great stay and we will be back.
Negative: I don't like the lock box with the revolving cylinders, difficult to read the numbers in the dark. Also, the 'Ironbridge' key fob, I found that too big for the small lock box to easily shut (so I removed it whilst there and replaced it on leaving.) The car parking is a bit awkward, but it is there; as an idea of size, it was okay for me to park my Jag XF there.

Negative: I found the process with the host agency after booking really annoying. You get an email saying you need to pay a £500 damage deposit, which will be returned to you 8 to 14 days after your stay. I messaged to ask when the deposit would be taken from my account but received no reply. So I delayed doing the identidy verification as I didn't want the £500 taken weeks before my stay, I was then bombarded with texts and emails reminding me to do it. When I did, there was also a long legal agreement to sign up to, far more red tape than any other property I have ever rented. They don't actually take £500, just your card details, but they do charge you £10 for a process that only benefits them.

Positive: The property was lovely with the location excellent & in easy reach of the local attractions. There was also a local pub on the street with another couple of pubs & a cafe within easy walking distance selling food.
Negative: When using the shower it leaks through the ceiling to the ground floor. we left a note regarding this for the hosts so hopefully this has now been rectified. But my main gripe would be that the property was not advertised a pass the Keys Property. If I had known that once I had booked this property I would then be sent a demand for either another £40 insurance fee or £500 deposit I would not have booked the property.
Summary: The property & location were lovely but the unexpected charges should be advertised when booking.

Negative: Saucepans stained and frying pans a bit sticky. Outside windows need cleaning Rather too many messages from Pass the Keys all automated. The info in the cottage was more helpful and personal
