Positive: The views were amazing! The road was rough but this was known before we rented
Negative: The water pump was broken which the owners were aware of before we got there. We woke up in the morning with no water pressure and had to call. The contractors arrived with the water pump and it was fine after that. There is a loud dehumidifier for under the house which is on constantly and kept us up at night. I don't think we could have used the upper bedroom because of the noise.
Summary: It was a beautiful location and the house was very nice except for the noise from the pump.

Positive: This was a last minute booking due to unexpected cancelation of other booking. The hosts replied immediately with all the information needed to calm my nerves. The view from the house is spectacular and the home had everything we needed.
Negative: The drive up the mountain to get to the house was a bit nerve racking, but the end result was worth it! If you are not comfortable driving in mountains, make sure you head back before dark!
Summary: If we return to Taos, we will definitely see if this home is available to rent again!

Positive: Master bedroom very comfortable with high quality sheets/pillows; adjoining bathroom with overhead showers and bathtub was a clever and very easy to use set-up along with the heated sink; outdoor dining area and backyard outstanding with the view and appreciated the additional office/study area. Kitchen has everything even wine refrigerator and various coffee makers. Pizza oven unique and fun.
Negative: Needs a hot tub/jacuzzi to make the place perfect. Upstairs bedroom has no easy access to a bathroom. Leaking from ceiling was problematic in both living room and mud room (both reported)
Summary: Loved the eclectic, very comfortable place with wonderful view and easy access to the ski area.

Positive: The house was stunning! Beautiful home, beautifully decorated, yet comfortable. Absolutely loved the house & property. We had no water from Friday at 5 till Saturday 11. Understand that the power goes out, ect, ect. However the problem was with the Property Managers - not the local ones, the main managers. After hours of hearing "we are reaching out to our team" & other canned responses...we gave up! I kept asking them to have someone call, because it was probably just a switch needing flipped. Around noon on Saturday the local employee called, expecting to find the water had been fixed. She found the msg regarding us having no water; in her Manager's messages! We had water in 15 min. She told us what to do, walked to dollar panel, flipped switch & vola, the pump was running! There had been no direct communication btwn the management. The local girl was wonderful, called an hour later to follow up & had it not been working, she would have driven up. Yahoo for the locals!
Negative: The road up is a white knuckle one, 1st time. Once your use to it, seemed not too bad going down.

Positive: Fantastic views of nature. Spacious and beautifully decorated house. Relaxing and comfortable ambience. Easily accommodated six people. Pizza oven was unique, and awesome.
Negative: Directions to house could be listed more prominently. Not easy to find.

Negative: ice maker was jammed. I’m guessing it had not been used in awhile. really needs ice for cooler and drinks. We had difficulty seeing the sign from the road. it was very late when we arrived.

Positive: Amazing views in a comfortable home. Great family getaway. Perfect kids room with bunk beds and single.
Negative: It was a long, uphill drive on an unpaved road to get there. would be very challenging in bad weather and would need a 4X4 in any kind of snow.
