Enjoy the lovely open floor plan in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. You'll want to relax on the living room furniture, playing the grand piano or various board games. Sleeping up to six guests (four adults), this home has three spacious bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with two twin-size beds for the kids. The room with the queen-size bed is detached from the home in its own guest suite for extra privacy. A sofabed is also available in the living room.
Three full tiled bathrooms are great for everyone! WiFi access, a private washer/dryer are available for your convenience. Don't leave the dog at home - you can even bring up to two furry friends with you.

Summary: Great spot tucked away-I am reluctant to say too many great things because it was harder to book dates for this year! Scanning the horizon for wildlife and boats is our favourite. The northern lights made an appearance during our stay and at one point it looked like a rainbow was shooting out of Mt Baker and reflecting across the ocean at us. I can’t wait to come back!

Summary: Unbeatable view. Many beautiful authentic mid century pieces of furniture in this artist’s home but some of them should be reupholstered or replaced as they are quite dirty and in some cases not functional any more.

Summary: We had a great weekend at the Artist’s House. The view and beach access were some of the best parts, including eating meals outside. The house is incredibly well equipped, especially the kitchen. There was every type of cooking tool you could even imagine needing and there was a huge array of dish-ware. The rest of the house had plenty of towels, outdoor towels, outdoor blankets, deck chairs, etc. There was nothing else we needed! It did take us a minute to figure out where to dispose of the trash/recycling. For those that come after us and read this review, there is a woodshed building in the garden that has bins of trash, recyclables (plastic/cans/cardboard), and glass. We had such a lovely time and will happily come back.

Summary: This is a little drive off the beaten path and not within Port Townsend itself, but it had everything my family needed. Managed to do a little work in the upper office, yoga on the little wooden deck overhanging the ocean, beach walks, and plenty of time staring out the windows. We would plan to cook more at home next time, as the kitchen is very well-equipped. We also brought binoculars, as you will want to be searching for wildlife and trying to read the names on the boats. Thank you!

Summary: Little remote if you are heading to the rain forest or other locations on the Olympic Peninsula, but nice house and awesome location on the water. Super peaceful. Really enjoyed the eclectic décor and doing research on the prior owner/artist. You can tell it was owned by an artistic personality. If you want a spacious home with amazing views, this is for you.
