Summary: The property is in a great location close to Newbury but as it's on the common amongst the woods it feels very private and secluded. The owner's property is on the site but you never noticed apart from the warm welcome. The property itself is well looked after, very comfortable and has everything you need, including a much appreciated welcome pack. We have a dog and she was also very comfortable in her surroundings. Will return again!!

Summary: We had a lovely week here. We visit the UK quite often (at least once a year over the last 15 to 20 years), and stayed in many different accomodations. This one is in our top three, most certainly! Colin and Jane are such nice people. And Blue (the dog) was a nice companion for our dog Flora!

Summary: The Hut was perfect for us as a months break during a house move. The owner ( and his dog ! ) made us , and ours , so welcome. The accomodation , though small was so well designed it was perfect for the 3 of us...we really loved our time there , a unique venue .Thankyou Colin .
