The estate is family friendly and includes a swimming pool, tennis / pickleball court, basketball court, and playscape. Whether you are looking for a relaxing retreat or plenty of room to let the kids run, play, and swim, The Garden House and its sprawling grounds will fit anyone's needs.
The Garden House is a 1,800 square foot guesthouse with mid-century modern and transitional décor. The Garden House accommodates 6 people, has a spacious living area with a TV, a dinning area that seats 6, and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom includes 1 king bed, and the guest room includes 1 queen bed. A second living area includes a card table, bar, and queen size sofa bed. The Garden House boasts equally impressive views of the surrounding oaks trees with two calming water features. From the peaceful back deck, you can enjoy a distant view of the San Antonio downtown skyline.
Also available for rent is The Ambassador House. The Ambassador House is the main house on the estate. It is a mid-century modern home with 5,000 square feet that comfortably sleeps up to 12 persons. The Ambassador is beautifully furnished in mid-century modern and transitional style with modern artwork. The master suite includes 1 king bed, coffee bar, sitting area, walk in closet, and private bath. The other 2 bedrooms include 2 queen beds each and a shared bath. The study accommodates two more persons on a twin size daybed and a pull out twin bed. The study also has its own full bath. The Ambassador House also includes a game room with a TV, bar, and pool table, a formal living area, a dining room with seating for 8, and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast nook for 6. We want your experience to be exceptional. A maintenance/grounds keeper, who resides on the estate, will be available to assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible.

Summary: The house and property were wonderful. Large tress and wildlife to see--deer, squirrels, fox and birds. The location is great. Hared to believe you are in a city. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Easy to access freeways.Marcus was great to work with when booking and answering questions. Edgar on property handled anything we needed.

Summary: I have a small infant and needed somewhere to stay that wouldn't require us to leave, but would entertain my 7 & 10 year old during the day while their dad worked. They absolutely loved the pool and scootering around on the property. it was so charming. The history and the 80's nostalgia we had staying here was amazing! My husband and I left saying we wanted an older home with character :) The kitchen area was huge, there is a second living room and doors with access to the outdoors everywhere. You also see the trees in full floor to ceiling windows or screen doors from every room. One thing I will say, the tub in one of the bathrooms needs to be updated. We all used the master shower and it was totally fine with us since we were one family. The master bathroom was HUGE. But if there was another family there it might have been a hassle.

Summary: Have stayed here before and will again. Always predictably and actually excellent facilities, amenities, and great communication with property manager. A plus is secluded area with wildlife to enjoy.

Summary: This property is rich in history, make sure you read the welcome book! In town for Airman’s graduation, the location was perfect to Lackland Air Base. Pool was nice and deer roamed around on property. The house has a great AC system for hot days. I would definitely recommend staying here for any occasion. 10/10

Summary: The place is roomy and had everything we needed. We took advantage of the pool to cool off and saw deer on the property. It's a super nice, peaceful place to relax.

Summary: I loved this property! This history is fascinating and the property itself is unique. It was wonderful- I suspect the land itself is gorgeous in the warmer months. I liked the location and loved the amenities. It was very luxury mid-century and it was terrific. We will stay here again when we get back to San Antonio. This is a gem.

Summary: This property is absolutely beautiful. I drove up in the drive way to be greeted by a herd of deer that grazed the entire time we were there. The house is laid out great for entertaining - equipped with anything you need. Very close to restaurants and shopping and medical district. Marco - the owner is very accommodating and Edgar that lives on the property attended to anything we needed with a smile. I will definitely be staying here again!
