Summary: We came to Deland for my son’s orientation at Stetson. It’s close enough to walk to the campus and to downtown. The house is impeccably clean and outfitted with anything you could need. Owner went out of her way to make us comfortable including turning on lights to help us more easily locate the property and get inside since our flight was delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night. We really felt like we were staying with family.

Summary: The home is beautifully decorated. Located in the Historic District of Deland. Everything we needed had been provided including a welcoming gift. A very nice touch. We would not hesitate to rent here again.

Summary: We had a great long weekend. Our wedding was fantastic and Peacock House was wonderful, The town of Deland is very quaint with lots of shops and restaurants. We walked all over town and on Stetson’s Campus. Wish we had warmer weather to take advantage of the pool. Would highly recommend this place to others. .

Summary: We had a great time staying at the Peacock House. You can tell great attention to detail went into making this home feel like a home away from home. Communication with the owner was amazing and extremely helpful since it was our first visit to Deland. Looking forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommend this property.

Summary: Loved this adorable property located close to Stetson as well as many shops and restaurants in downtown Deland. The home was clean and beautifully decorated with many thoughtful extras throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, the fire pit, pool and hot tub were all in good shape and working order. We enjoyed morning coffee on the bench swings on the front porch while friendly neighbors passed by. This property will definitely be our first choice for return visits!
