Positive: I used to own and run a small resort in northern Wisconsin and have a finely tuned appreciation of good ownership and management. Leah was phenomenal! She responded to my need for extra sheets within 5 minutes of me texting her. She and I chatted a bit over common midwestern experiences. When the hood fan motor wouldn't shut off, she immediately took action and scheduled the repair. The unit was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and clean. I noticed so many little but important touches including large bottles of shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent, plenty of towels, and my all-time favorite - lots of GOOD pillows. I know some places skimp on pillows and comforters, making a good night's sleep difficult. This owner and manager knew that a great vacation starts with a good night's sleep. The lower level family room was a perfect place to cool off and/or work. Some of my adult children had to work a bit and there was plenty of room/quiet for that with 2 extra monitors available. We are a family of cooks and found the kitchen overflowing with pots/pans, decent knives, a gas cooktop, bowls, and even an Instant Port (which we used to make barbecue beef). Leah had coffee and filters available with paper to-go cups. We were all quite impressed by the kitchen supplies. The location was wonderful, close enough to walk into town and close to some of our favorite hikes. We try to avoid going into the park due to the crowds and traffic, so this location was perfect. It was also close to the Estes Park Rec Center, a real gem. We have lots of extended family living in Estes and the location was perfect for visiting them and avoiding the drive through town. Our week was very hot - upper 80's - which for Estes is HOT. The owner had thoughtfully bought a large, room a/c unit which did a lot to cool the upper level. The lower level stayed cool even on the hottest days. We will definitely try to book this home again.

Positive: The location is perfect! We walked to town and every place we drove to was a short drive. The accommodations and amenities were top notch. We literally only needed to bring food. The rooms were large and comfortable. Will definitely book this property when we come back.

Positive: We loved the property, it had a slightly rustic feel while being very modern on the inside. I loved that the kitchen was well equipped with a variety of pots, pans, containers, utensils and plenty of spices. We’ve stayed at other properties where that was not the case. The property manger, Leah, was in constant contact, very attentive and responded quickly to inquires.
