Welcome to Fallow Hills! This private retreat on 100 wooded acres is perfect for large gatherings or intimate family experiences with two homes located just a stone throw away from one another. You will have plenty of room to spread out, unplug, and refresh with 100 acres, 5 ponds, and miles of hiking trails as your personal playground. Overlooking rolling hills, towering oaks, and your own 5-acre lake, Fallow Hills is an idyllic setting to have your next getaway! Just an easy 10-minute drive to the world famous First Monday Trade Days!
The Lodge and the Cabin combined sleep 15 and have 5 private bedrooms and one large bunkroom. There are 4 full baths to accommodate all your guests. Each home has its own private hot tub for a nice hot soak under the stars after a day of exploring.
Three living areas provide plenty of space for your entire gang. Two fully stocked and updated kitchens are at your disposal with plenty of fridge space and a large icemaker to make sure everyone's drinks stay cool.
Both homes were fully updated in 2023 with beautiful, high-quality furnishings in the Ralph Lauren style. High-end touches abound from the luxurious lines to the comfy organic mattresses that are sure to give you a peaceful night's sleep.
Outside you will find miles of covered porches overlooking nature and the ponds so that you can laze away the days relaxing and connecting to loved ones. Wander to the 5-acre lake and cast a line (catch and release). This breathtaking lake is brimming with bass and unforgettable memories you will cherish for years to come. Later that night, share those campfire stories and smores around the two fire pits.

Summary: Easy to get to. Directions were perfect. The house and cabin were fantastic. Very clean with large rooms. Owner was always available to answer questions. We had a fabulous time.

Summary: We spent 5 nights at Fallow Hills with our family of 10 children(3 married, with a couple grandchildren). The weather turned out cold(teens to 30’s), so we didn’t get to spend as much time enjoying the timber and ponds as we hoped, but there was plenty of room inside to relax, talk and play games together! Both the lodge and cabin are very nicely updated & furnished and were quite comfortable, even in unusually cold conditions outside.

Summary: Our large family had a wonderful stay at this property over Christmas! Everything looked just like the pictures and was very clean and accommodating. Summary: My sister and I get our families together every 4th of July…we decided this time to meet some what half way and chose to stay here at Fallow Hills. The property was perfect for our group, everything was very clean and comfortable. The main home and the cabin are both decorated well and the beds and rooms are all very comfortable. Josh and Michelle have thought of everything, even small things to make your stay complete. We had a question about connecting our sling to the TV and a few other things, Michelle was quick and helpful. We cooked all of our meals nearly in the Lodge and enjoyed eating together around the large table. Everything we needed to do this was there- pots, pans, measuring items, cutting boards…..even skewers for making s’mores which we did. We just brought paper plates etc, to make our job a little easier. My boys enjoyed a night in the hot tub under the stars and exploring in the woods. We left one day to go to Hams in Terrell and the Terrell film alley, then stayed at Fallow Hills to visit and catch up and play games with the family. We would definitely stay here again if we get to head this direction. Thank you so much Michelle for offering this wonderful property and making our trip together special and peaceful.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pictures do not do it justice. The furnishings were nice, roomy and comfortable. The kitchens were supplied with everything you need to do your own cooking. The surroundings were beautiful. We fished, hiked, kayaked and enjoyed the campfire during our stay. It was a perfect place to spend time with our kids and grandkids. I highly recommend it.
