Summary: Location was calm and peaceful, house well equipped, garden and pool great with amazing views across the countryside. Pierre was very friendly and was a real gentleman and his dog, Barnaby, who visited everyday, was a delight. Looking forward to returning. Property well located for visiting different attractions.

Summary: The property was great, lovely and quiet, the pictures gave a realistic view of the property and we were very comfortable. All of our needs were catered for, the BBQ was a great addition and we used it almost daily. We loved the quiet relaxation this property gave and although there were three gites close together, they were all entirely private and we never saw or heard any other guests (apart from a lovely little westie who visited us regularly). The only criticism I could level is that as we were staying for more than a week I would have liked to change the bedding and have had some fresh towels half way through...but a picky point on an otherwise wonderful stay. Pierre was a great host.

Summary: My wife, our dog and I recently spent five nights in this romantic and relaxing stone cottage. It truly is get away from it all and if you are looking for peace and quiet in a stunning setting, then you're in the right place. That said, it is only 30 minutes or so to Perigueux which we loved and a ten minute drive to a fabulous local restaurant which Gerardin will happily recommend to you...the pizza is superb. Geradin himself was an excellent host, there when we wanted him without encroaching on our personal space/holiday time....he's just a really nice bloke. It's also not that far to Sarlat and all its attractions but in truth, all we wanted to do was relax and this place delivered.Thanks Gerardin and I hope you are coping with the reduced speed limit in that fast car of yours!A bientôt!!!

Summary: We, a family of 4, stayed in this beautiful house for 2 weeks in July, and found it to be the perfect holiday retreat. The pool was wonderful and well maintained. The house had all the comforts we needed with all the modern technology. A very private and peaceful garden with all you need for eating outside. As for the owner, he was very organised and available for help. He also responded very quickly to enquiries beforehand.In summary, very much recommended!
