2 Bedroom House in Overstrand

3 mins walk to the sand between your toes! Amazing Overstrand beaches at all times of tide and dog friendly walks for miles inland and on coast, with long walks to Cromer and Trimingham. Get fit from sea swimming if you like, or pop to Cromer for a lesson on surfing or paddle boarding. Afterwards back to Overstrand to lose yourself in a book and let the children play for hours on the sand and in the sea, then have a relaxing beer at the excellent White Horse pub or cuppa in the cliff top café or pop back to the cottage to bring down a picnic with chilled wine from our 2 fridges.
Walk in the evening to Cromer on the beach, have Galton Blackistone's Number 1 Fish and Chips with a glass of something special, then wander home. Leave the car parked free of charge outside the cottage, cycle around or catch a bus or train. If it rains, the cottage is spacious, with huge rooms; central heating plus real log burner; dining table sits 8; unlimited wifi; flatscreen tv/dvd player; 2 fridges; separate freezer; all mod cons; 2 huge bedrooms; 2 bathrooms, one downstairs, and the one upstairs is ensuite; separate rooms for dining, sitting, kitchen, utility room, downstairs shower and loo; all updated; perfect for families or 2 couples, seating and sleeping easily 5 people, plus squeeze up space for extra friends and space for cots. (Maximum occupancy is 4 adults, however families of 2 adults and up to 3 children are also welcome).
One dog maximum with an additional £25 charge. Two dogs may be allowable upon express prior agreement of the owners.
The cottage is ideal for children as it is 3 minutes walk to the sand on the beach and 2 minutes to an updated adventure play ground. You can hire cycles in the village or Cromer in the peak seasons.
The cottage has a fabulous period interior, a log stove plus central heating, fully equipped separate kitchen, dining room and sitting room, and a downstairs shower room and toilet. Unlimited Wifi and unlimited car parking outside the front door.
The upstairs bathroom is en suite to the large king size bedroom.
Second bedroom has 3 single beds (two of which can be joined to make a second king size bed). Just let us know!
Outside and garden
There is plenty of space in the secluded garden and shed for bikes, pushchairs and surf boards. Free parking outside with no restrictions. Teak table and chairs and BBQ.

Summary: Really great time in Overstrand Norfolk at Bond cottage, with the awesome fully stocked brand new kitchen! Evenings playing monopoly around the huge dining table with maybe a glass or two of vino. Literally 3 minutes walk to the ocean and 2.2 mile walk along the coast to Cromer which were amazing walks! Only down side is that James Bond forgot to visit! Owner, Nigel extremely accommodating even when the teenager forgot the door keys in his coat pocket and found it a week later upon returning home! many many thanks xxx

Summary: We had such a lovely half term staying at Bond Cottage. It was warm and cosy especially with the log burner which was a real treat. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a lovely big dining table. The bedrooms were nice and big and our 3 children really enjoyed sleeping in the same room. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept really well even during Storm Eunice! The cottage is in a great location, minutes from the seafront and we had some lovely walks with the dog on the beach. Nigel was really quick to response with any queries we had and there was good communication throughout. Very friendly neighbours too. Would love to come back again.

Summary: Bond cottage is a lovely old cottage. For us as a family it was home from home, it’s somewhere you could relax and feel comfortable. We slept well bed seemed comfortable but beds don’t always suit everyone. It had everything we needed and more. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to light the log burner. I would just like to add we had no problem with next doors dogs barking we took our own 2 dogs all dogs bark sometimes Nigel as an owner is helpful and will answer any questions. We would definitely stay again perfect location. Overstrand is a lovely village I have been visiting for over 30 years regularly.

Summary: Sorry for this.......everything perfect except for just two small things. Parking was an issue, often had to park at the other end of the street. Walls must be very thin as we could hear next doors conversations which was not anyway near as bad as their two dogs who were extremely loud,(We know this is not your fault and completely out of your control) but something to consider when looking for a quiet few days away!!

Summary: A lovely few days stay in Overstrand helped by the beautiful weather. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. The garden would have been lovely to sit in but the next doors buddliha blocked out the sun! Unfortunately the neighbours dogs barked constantly for a couple of hours in the evenings having been left in the house with no lights etc. so the slightest noise set them off.
