The Property:
On the main level you'll enjoy a large sun room with eating area and comfy sofa that overlooks the lakeside screened in porch. From there you'll wander into the living room with propane fireplace, ample seating and beautiful sunset views.
The dining area overlooking the lake is just off the freshly renewed kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of cabinet and counterspace.
Down the hall you'll find a full bath across from the main floor bunk room. This room features a Twin over Full bunk bed with an addt'l twin trundle as needed.
Continuing down the hall is the spacious Master Suite with a large king bed, a full sofa sleeper, 3/4 bath and generous walk in closet. An added bonus is the screened in porch overlooking the towering pines and nightly white tail deer sightings.
In the lower level you'll find a very comfortable family room with large TV set up for game days, movie nights or rainy afternoons. Additionally you'll find a well equipped bedroom with a Queen bed and another bedroom with a Twin over Full bunk bed as well as a separate Twin. For an added bonus, there is also a play room off of the family room for the younger ones to find themselves in a Lego creation, toys or a book.
On the lakeside you'll find a large deck with seating for 6 and a boat house for toys. Typically includes a selection of life jackets, kayaks, stand-up paddleboard and more.
A firepit space overlooking the lake is made available to use with plentiful firewood and adirondacks to kick back and enjoy.
Sand Lake is a fully recreational lake with a paved boat access just .25m west of the property. The dock is available for use for your boat or rented boat from a local provider. Sand Lake has great fishing and recreational - see onsite manual for more details.
Around the corner and accessible via boat or car is the Moose Lake Golf Club, a very popular spot for golfers and trail riders alike.
The Moose Lake area has access to a great network of ATV/Snowmobile trails as well as many places to stop and enjoy some food or beverage along the way. Come enjoy what the area has to offer!

Summary: This cabin is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend at the lake!! The cabin was large enough to accommodate our 10 person group with room to spare. Beautiful views of Sand Lake greet you around every corner. It’s cozy and very clean. Already recommending this place to friends and family

Summary: We had a wedding a nearby establishment and this place was absolutely amazing. We had children and adults staying here. If we had questions we got immediate answers. It was the perfect place and very clean! So nice to be right on the lake with a great deck that overlooks it.

Summary: This place was perfect for our stay! We had a group of 10 friends and it worked great for everyone. It was a very comfortable cabin and we really enjoyed all the open space our group could spend together, both indoor and outdoor. It was very well stocked with everything we needed and the host was responsive when we had questions prior to our booking. Check in and out were easy as well. The dock and beach were enjoyed by all and having the golf course on lake was a perk as! We will definitely be coming back next year!

Summary: Absolute perfect place for a vacation at the lake. Sandy beach with beach toys, kayaks and a paddle board, made for lots of lake fun. There is good size lawn for running around with a soccer ball or a game of bocce ball (we brought our own). The cabin is very nicely done with everything you need and a view of the lake from multiple rooms. We spent time on the deck, hung out in the lovely screen porch in the rain, and had campfires in the evening. Games, toys and books for the kids. Comfy couches and beds. We didn't want to leave! Easy check in, good communication with host. We will be back!!!

Summary: It was wonderful. This place has everything you need. We packed extra lawn chairs for down by the water and to our surprise found lots of chairs in the shed! The kids loved all the lake toys and yard games. We had 3 families stay there. 5 adults and 4 kids It was so spacious and clean. We all said, "we wish this was our house" The location is beautiful and peaceful. It's only a 5 min drive from town. Moose lake has a great grocery store and gift shop. You can't catch lots of little sunnies right off the dock. The kids were so excited that they caught so many. We booked it again for next year but this time for longer! Highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Summary: Our stay on Sand Lake was wonderful! This was a family vacation with three generations ranging in age from 2-60 years. The cabin was just as described, with multiple areas for larger groups to gather, and enough spots to move to get some privacy. We spent lots of outdoor time on the deck or by the fire pit, and the firewood provided was plentiful. There were several grassy areas to play outdoor games, and the lake was clear and beautiful. I've spent many past summer weeks at Northern Wisconsin or Minnesota family lake cabins, and a good lake is important to me. This cabin is set on a larger, treed lot, back from the road, so it seems quite private. We rented a pontoon from the resort on the lake and spent two of our days swimming, floating and fishing. The lily pad provided by our hosts was great to have, as were all of the life jackets hanging in the boathouse. We also had a group go golfing at the Moose Lake Golf Club, just around the corner. This would not be a cabin for those who don't do stairs, as there is a decent set to get down to lake level. I would definitely recommend this cabin to those interested in the Northern Lake Vacation feel, who don't want to make the long, 3+ hour drive from the Twin Cities. Our family hopes to return in the future.

Summary: Our group on six adults and five children, had a great week! The premises were clean, well appointed and in good repair. There was a great selection of outdoor furnishings, a convenient firepit, and beach and water equipment including floats and kayaks. Water was clear and beach front clean. Thanks!

Summary: Great place for our snowmobile trip with 8 adults, everyone had a bed and nice open kitchen/dining/living space for hanging out at the end of the day. Plenty of parking for 3 crew cab trucks and large enclosed trailers with drive in-drive out loop driveway. Snow was cleared when we arrived, we had plenty of space in the sunroom for all of our gear/coolers and a place to suit-up in the morning. Short half-mile ride to the trail via the lake or roadside. Host was great and kept in touch with us. We would definitely go back!

Summary: The house was very nice, very clean and was everything that was described. The large circle drive made it easy to park two truck and trailers. We were able to drive the snowmobiles about 3 blocks and get on the main snowmobile trail. This house works perfect for a “home base” for a snowmobile trip!
