Positive: Comfortable bed, nice breakfast, tea and coffee offered in the room but no milk. This property was good value for the cost, although it's the little things for me such as, it would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the TV.
Negative: The main issue for me was the operation of security cameras without any signage to accompany them. I enquired with the host via text, the prefered method of communication by the host, who I never met during the stay, a first with my many bookings on this platform. Gareth's response was a dismissal of my concerns with a passive aggressive tone which I didn't appreciate. Whilst not unlawful to use CCTV cameras in common areas, relying on a guest reading the fact in a long list of facilities in the listing on Booking.com, and remembering is something else. It clearly states guest should be advised when checking in, and cameras shown to the guest. None of the devices had, "i am a camera" on them as the host stated. This is from Booking.com regulations; Make sure to indicate the presence of all safety devices - both inside and outside your property and show guests the location of these devices during check-in.

Positive: Gorgeous little guest house in scenic Blaenau Ffesteniog! Very charming accomodation with all necessities provided and wonderful hospitality, including breakfast. There is also access to a communal kitchen space that came in very handy! Price was also extremely reasonable. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Positive: The property is a beautifully renovated chapel which has bags of character and a unique feel. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need and were well presented, clean and tidy. Parking is good and it’s well positioned for a nice walk into town. Owner is very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Home baked bread was delicious.
